I'm a licensed Zumba Fitness instructor.
To me that means finding music that YOU enjoy, creating routines that are beneficial to YOU, teaching a class and cue so that YOU are able to follow along, maintain an energy level that creates a party atmosphere, which in turn makes your workout fun and exciting, yet effective! We laugh. We smile. We moan n groan. We shake it. We pump it. We squat. We jump. We even bump booties!! And nothin, my friends... NOTHIN, makes me happier than to see you smile (or grimace, some of you grimaceππ) KNOWING that you are having a good time, investing in your health, mental and physical! I love hearing your success stories, whether they are health related, fitness related, fun related or otherwise. I'm not always perfect up there but... I try!!
I'm thankful. And I am BLESSED to be able to have shared this lifestyle with you for over 10 years now. Some of you have been with me from day one and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! You've seen me move from spot to spot, sometimes feeling like a failure and wanting to give up. You know I was told "you'll never make it". I was lied on and talked about but... I just kept on truckin. Being ME!! That's ALL I know to do. I'm not competing with anyone but MYSELF! To be better than I was yesterday.
I was speaking with another fitness instructor the other day and we discussed shared participants (those who attend her class as well as mine). My analogy was PIZZA.π€£π€£π€£π€£ ONE instructor might be pepperoni, another cheese, another all veggie... doesn't mean one is "better" than another, it's your personal preference. We both agreed that folks should try em all!πππ It's about finding your fit. Finding a class for YOU! Get in where you fit in! There are many instructors in our area to choose from. ππ
I say all of that to say THIS!!
I'm grateful for you and I appreciate you! THANK YOU for EVERYTHING you do, even when you don't know you're doing it!! ππππ
P.S. Sorry this post might be all over the place... my heart is heavy and I just needed to say what I needed to say... in so many words.
