📢Unfortunately, due to the recent heavy rainfall and excessively wet conditions, we have made the difficult decision to cancel both our rodeos scheduled for this weekend (4/18 & 4/19).

The safety of everyone is always our top priority, and the current conditions just won't allow us to participate safely.

📅What's Next?
▪️ Make-up Dates: We've already set aside 3 make-up dates- we'll announce which 2 out of 3 allocated dates we'll be using soon! (Make-up dates set aside are 8/9, 8/15 & 8/16).

➡️Next scheduled Youth Rodeo will be June 14th!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: RAIN PLAN & ENTRIES!
We want to emphasize that we will NOT be competing in unsafe arena conditions! The safety of the contestants, their horses, and the livestock is paramount!

👀We ARE keeping an eye on the upcoming weather forecast after the 3" of rain Ottumwa received over the past weekend. A final decision on whether the rodeo is a "go" for the weekend will be made Thursday Evening (4/16/26), so families can plan accordingly.

In the meantime, please continue to submit your entries! This is crucial so we can provide our stock contractors with accurate stock numbers!

📝Membership Forms have already been posted (see the featured items on our page) so you can complete your memberships online- quick & easy! We will accept memberships at the rodeo as well.

‼Don't forget: Bring a $100 Sponsorship, your family's membership fees are waived!

📅Online Entries will open Monday (4/6) & will close Wednesday, April 15th @ 10pm.

🍔Come hungry! The Ottumwa Saddle Club will have the cook shack open & they LOVE to see the kids & families!
