Ottumwa Soccer Club U6 Fall 2019 Season This page is meant for the U6 players and their families to communicate during the 2019 fall season.

the coaches will use this to coordinate practices, game times, and cancelations. Parents can use this page as well to communicate with coaches or parents.

10/20/2019

Today is our last game day. 1:00 Red vs Green and 1:45 Blue vs Green. We have medals to hand out to our little players in between the games, so Blue team, please be a little early. Also, our coaches have a few pictures packets left over for players we haven’t seen in a little while. Hope to see you there.

So our final two games will be
Friday October 18th (make up day)
5pm Blue vs Green
5:45 Blue vs Red

Sunday October 20th
1pm Green vs Red
1:45 Green vs Blue

Thanks parents for putting up with the weather this season. It was almost as bad as spring season. See you at practice!

Practice is canceled for tonight due to weather but it looks good for Sunday, see you then. Red vs Green at 1pm and Red vs Blue at 1:45pm.

Remainder of our weekends are currently.
October 13th
1pm Red vs Green
1:45 Red vs Blue

October 20th should be our last weekend.

We’ve missed a couple of weekends now for games and our little players want to play. With out going too far into November for these games Coach Paul, Coach Kevin, and I thought about different options. We thought about doing make up games on practice days. Coach Paul is only available during the week on Monday so Blue team would most likely play on this day but if your unavailable on that day we’d just have your player play on red or green team. We would also need to play our games earlier in the evening because of the sun set.
We need to be done by the 20th because we won’t be able to stripe the fields any longer past then. If you have a different suggestion please feel free to comment below. Fridays might be an option but I haven’t spoken to Coach Paul or Coach Kevin about this day. I am not available Saturday night.

The fields are a mess. We will have to cancel today due to field conditions. The club and us three coaches will try and figure out make up games. I’ll post a poll on Facebook for different options. If you don’t have Facebook, I can send you the options over text. Sorry, I’ve got a very disappointed player which breaks my heart.

Practices will be canceled again tonight to save the fields for this weekend. There is still some standing water. We host this weekend. I’ll see everyone hopefully on Sunday! I know our little players will be disappointed again.

Unfortunately no practice for the U6 tonight. We’ve got standing water on our fields and the weather doesn’t show signs of leaving us alone today.

No games today due to weather again. Sorry everyone. We will add a make up game day for this later in the season. I bet our little players are disappointed as are us coaches.
