📢 Calling All Ottumwa Nonprofits!
The Ottumwa Ragbrai 2024 Committee is thrilled to announce record proceeds from this year’s event and is now accepting grant proposals to fund impactful projects for our community.
✨ Grant Details:
• Applicants must be registered as a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit organization
• Must be for Brick-and-Mortar projects that will be utilized by the public at large
• Project must be completed within 1 year of grant award
• Grant expenses will only be reimbursed with receipts of approved work completed
• Award winner(s) must agree to install signage indicating that funding from the “2024 Ottumwa RAGBRAI Committee” assisted in the funding of the project in an approved conspicuous location.

• Proof of nonprofit status
📅 Timeline:
• Grant announcement: December 5, 2024
• Application deadline: January 31, 2025
• Award announcement: March 14, 2025

Holy heck we made it! We have many people to thank for making RAGBRAI in Ottumwa a success. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the volunteers who poured their time and energy into planning and running the event, the performers who kept us entertained throughout the day and night (Ted Stockton, Cam Steinbach, Wes VanAntwerp & Mel Podliska, The Gallant Vagabonds, The Marshallese Community, Q-Trio, January, Hollowtree, Rushmore, Run Forrest Run, Night Ranger), and the vendors who joined us. And, of course, a big thank you to RAGBRAI for bringing this event to Ottumwa and to all of the riders who participated!

We would like to give a huge shoutout to all of the volunteers who helped us put on an incredible event yesterday. South Ottumwa Savings Bank is inviting all of the volunteers to Live After Five tonight to be recognized for your hard work!

We've heard there are some traffic jams happening around town today. We realize it's probably been awhile since you were in drivers education so here's a reminder: If the stop light is blinking, you treat it like a stop sign.

We're not sure if the bands are all just really short or if the stage isn't quite ready yet. Either way, tomorrow is the big day! RAGBRAI LI is rolling into Ottumwa, and we have a packed day of entertainment planned. Main stage performances kick off at 4 p.m. and will feature January, Hollowtree, Rushmore, Run Forrest Run, and arena rock legends Night Ranger!
