Who's looking for a prospect?👀 I bought Chanelle from Levi as a 2y/o and she is turning out to be phenomenal!! Shoot me a message and i can get you connected 🙌🏻 He's got others to choose from as well depending on what you're looking for💯

This morning after working our mare Bailey in the arena we cooled down out on the trail. While this mare safely rides in the arena and on the trails….she is bred to run! No she’s not for kids, no grandma and grandpa won’t enjoy this one! This mare has the breeding and the potential to be the real deal performance horse. Whether you are looking to develop her for barrel racing, rodeo events, etc this mare is on the hips and powerful!

If you are interested in a performance prospect Bailey will be a horse to take you to the top. Call 320-496-4136 for more information.

Some of you may remember, but if you don't know, this is my retired gelding Winston. He is the horse that started my show career and the horse I had the privilege to grow up with. I've had him for a decade now, and he's truly my best friend. Unfortunately, Winston had to be retired back in 2022 (against his will😉) due to a ringbone diagnosis. He has since been enjoying lots of time out in the pasture with his buddies and eating all the hay and grass he'd like.

Today, he would not stop whinnying at me. I couldn't figure out why but eventually decided he needed some time out to play. I had practiced some poles with Chanelle earlier and went to see if Winston wanted to give it a go for old time's sake... he sure did!🤣

I miss riding this horse so much and it makes my heart so happy to see him still want to do his job after being retired for 4 years and turning 23 this year🩷 Now I just need to work on my cardio so I can keep up🤣🏃🏼‍♀️

I didn't have any set in stone plans for my horses today. We are working on getting permanent stalls in, and I had some clients to get to later in the day. I had about an hour and a half in between, so I had taken Ruby out to work on a few things. When I was finished, I took Ruby's halter off and let her walk back into her pen as I do with all my horses. Immediately after I did this, Ember came up to me and quite literally put her head right into Ruby's halter. I wasn't going to tell her no, so we did some ground work.

I absolutely LOVE a horse that is willing to work, and I will never tell one no. Ember is now a yearling and I don't put much pressure on her to be doing certain things. I am a strong believer in them telling you when they are ready, and today Ember was. She stood quietly at the hitching post for brushing, fly spray, getting her feet picked, and getting a ba****ck pad thrown on. I then took her to the arena to be lunged where she did everything just as I asked.

This is exactly how I want a young one to be. Eager, willing, and quiet. Qualities like these are what makes a great horse stand out from a good one. I can't wait for this filly's future!!
