ends his high school career as the 2026 MN AAA State Champ! Josh has rewritten a multitude of records throughout his career, I won't try to list them. I can not thank Josh, his family, and Liv for trusting me to be a part of Josh's career! It has been an honor getting to know Josh and the village of people who support him in every way! I can not wait to see what his next chapter has in store!

There is nothing Annika can do that would make me more proud of who she has become as a person and what she has done in all of her endeavors. I have been lucky enough to witness a lot of Annika's successes in pole vault over the years and they are all awesome, from her first PR of 8'1" at her first TVPV camp to tonight where she joined the 11' club. None of that compares to all of the qualities that make her herself. Getting to know Annika, her family, her coaches, and teammates over the years has been such an honor.

Again, congrats to Annika, her family, and her coaches for this huge milestone of joining the 11' club!

It has been so fun coaching Sophie over the years! Over the last 4 years, I spent two years as her HS coach and the last two years as her club coach over the off-season. Sophie set a PR of 9'6" as a sophomore, and after two long years and hours and hours of hard work, she earned a PR of 10'1". That new PR bumps her up to 2nd of the All Time list for her HS! We knew 10'+ has been in the tank for a while. Between her busy schedule, she found time to put in the work, and all of the metrics and training were pointing to this bar being left up at any moment. All it took was experimenting with her pole series and finding which version fit her the best. I am so unbelievably proud of who Sophie has grown into as a person and vaulter. I am honored to be given the opportunity to have a small part in her journey! You will be hard pressed to find someone more kind-hearted, bubbly, optimistic, and persistent! Congratulations, Sophie!

I have said this for years now, but we are very privileged to be alive at the time we are to witness the growth of women's pole vault. Just when i think it can not get any better, I am blown away again and again. Not only at the country/world level but locally and at club level. If you have been a part of any of the TVPV sessions, you have noticed the number of hard-working women/girls there are. It is inspiring to me and other vaulters to witness. Just in our local area, the growth in number of school records, state participants and medalists, and the sheer quality of heights being jumped is incredible. Vaulters from schools that have little to zero pole vault resources are taking matters into their own hands to better themselves and becoming school record holders, conference champions, state champions, and national qualifiers. Thank you to all the women and girls out there working hard and inspiring others! You all inspire me to work hard and continue offering the resources you all need to succeed!

The indoor season got kicked off yesterday with the Ugly Sweater Vault! This was not a sanctioned meet, but there were unofficial PR's, short approach PR's, and everyone showed a lot of potential with the adaptations they have been working hard on! Happy holidays, everyone!
