Heading to Art in the Park this weekend? Be sure to stop by Table 21! Come meet Lu-La, the City of Keene, and the Monadnock Conservancy and get hands-on with the vision for the Ashuelot Green Space Project.

Curious about what a nature-based playground could look like?Want to build, create, and share your ideas?Ready to help shape a space for our community?

Lu-La, a nature-based landscape design company working with the City of Keene on initial conceptual renderings, will be there this weekend engaging with community members. Come find us at Table 21 and show us what YOU want to see!

Help shape the future of Robin Hood Park!

The City of Keene, CHA Solutions, and the Robin Hood Park Steering Committee invite you to a public feedback session for Phase II of the Robin Hood Park Renovation Project. Phase I - Pool Renovation - is currently out to bid with the City's Purchasing Office.

Learn about the plans, meet the project team, and share what features you want to see in this well-loved park space. Your input will guide key decisions and help bring this much‑needed renovation to life for our community!

KPRD Youth Soccer and Flag Football registrations are open through Wednesday, September 2! There are still a limited number of spots available, and we’d love to see as many kids as possible out on the fields this fall. (We’re still welcoming Coach volunteers too!) We’re branching out! Introducing our NEW Adult Community Sport Series (16+). Join us Saturday mornings at 10am for a unique sport, some friendly competition, pizza, and a chance to meet new people and build connections.

Let's send the first few days of school out in style - JOIN US for our final Movie Under the Stars TOMORROW, Friday 8/28 - right here at the Rec!

TIME: Dusk (as soon as it's dark enough to see the screen, it'll start!)
FILM: The Wild Robot (a family-friendly masterpiece based on a recent popular book)
BRING: Blanket or lawn chairs (and layer up for the cooler nighttime temps)

Popcorn and water are provided, along with ample parking and restroom access. Thanks to the Monadnock International Film Festival and AMT productions, KPRD invites you to enjoy this community night out for free!

KPRD Fall Youth Sports kick off 2 weeks from tonight - registration is still open!

KPRD Afterschool Program begins Monday 8/31 - there are a handful of spots left for the 2026-27 school year!

We enjoyed seeing so many new and familiar faces at Community Night last week; here's what's happening this week with KPRD as our community celebrates back to school!

- The Wild Robot! Our final Movie Under the Stars this season will be Friday 8/28 evening at dusk - right at KPRD! What a great way to wrap the first few days of school - join us in Fuller Park where the popcorn will be fresh, the water cold, and the film truly one to remember.

- Our KPRD Afterschool Program is filling fast! Starting Monday 8/31 and open to children in grades 2-5, register today to enjoy daily snacks, engaging activities, and rotating theme-based clubs including cooking, STEM, arts & crafts, and more. Meets Monday–Friday, 2:45–5:30pm ( includes all school and weather-related early release days).

- Our Esports & More Program is open to just 16 participants per session (8 sessions/school year) and there is still room in Session 1! Kids will enjoy Esports Room access featuring PC, Xbox, Wii, Nintendo Switch, and VR on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (3:30–5:30pm) including one day of offline gaming & adventure each week.

- Our Fall Programs have something for everyone! Youth Sports: Flag Football, Soccer. Adult Community Sport Socials: Sand Volleyball, 17" Slowpitch, Kickball, Dodgeball. Pickleball Passes, Tennis in the Parks, Chair Yoga, Walking, Senior Shape Up, Zumba Gold, Line Dancing, and so much more... Join us on the fields and on the courts this fall!

RACE DAY!

The final summer bike race hits the track at 10 AM! Join KPRD Lila, NEMBA Mike, and riders of all ages and abilities for a morning of friendly competition, a chance to set a new PR, and plenty of fun on the track. This is just one example of the great opportunities KPRD partners with local groups to bring to our community.
