YOUR PUTTER CAN CHANGE HOW YOU AIM 🎯⛳️

Most golfers think putting alignment is all about their setup. It can be but not always!

But your putter design can have a major influence on how you see and aim the putter.

🔹 HEAD SHAPE
Blade vs. mallet shapes can create different visual cues. The size, symmetry, and geometry of the head can influence where your eyes perceive the target line.

🔹 SIGHT LINES
A single line, long alignment line, dots, or no sight line at all can dramatically change how you frame the ball and visualize your intended starting line.

🔹 NECK STYLE
Plumber’s neck, flow neck, center shaft, and other hosel designs change the way the putter sits behind the ball—and can influence how naturally you align the face.

The goal isn’t to find the “best” putter design 💯

It’s to find the design that helps YOU consistently aim the face where you intend.

🎯 Better alignment → better starting direction → better pace (less manipulations) → more putts made.

There’s a number of reasons why you struggle with ball striking/impact but this sequence will get you trending. Just make sure you do the exercises in order, all can be done without even hitting balls early, allowing you to get closer to greatness 💪

I never cared about things like this until I opened a “small business”. Small business owners have dealt with alot over the last 5 years. The amount of owners/friends I’ve seen close or struggle in that time is heart breaking. I’ve seen countless closures, openings, then closures just in our HHI plaza during that time..for example we have 2 restaurants closing now on top of that I recently learned about! I feel so much for those struggling right now where it appears your country doesn’t care too much about supporting your small business (I don’t want this to be political but it’s reality)

Outside of frustration for my friends and our community (HHI has folks with a lot of disposable income) I’d like to recommend supporting your small business’s during this time. I know if our small businesses can struggle during this time with our DEMOGRAPHICS I can’t imagine how other communities across the country are dealing. Support your local small businesses across the country 🙏

If you struggle to get your golf swing moving this is a must see! How your hands, club, and body start moving early in the golf swing is essential to better golf.

In practice 👇

✅Take a glove or headcover and place it under your lead arm pit

✅Keep the object under the lead arm pit until you’re about half way in the backswing. It can drop from there but doesn’t have to.

When Playing 👇

✅Take the sleeve or cloth of your lead arm pit and tuck it. Keep it tucked early then rip it!

Amazing to say that Mastery Golf Performance is closing in on 5 years soon! It started with a build out during Covid, lots of delays/masks, no clients as we were coming from Jersey, just a dream, support from the wifey, and relying on myself. We had friends help us in the development process with manual labor which was awesome (thank you). We then began to build the team (you know who you are) and have had growth every year during some very interesting times when so many others have gone out of business 🙏

To this day I count my blessings as we pull golfers from all of the clubs in this area and we’re just the guys that started with 1 location in a strip mall. Thank you to all of the folks that have supported MGP over the years and we look forward to the future! 💪

Today’s a hard day..My grandmother who was responsible for getting me into golf, alongside my grandfather, was laid to rest..she was 100 years old which is amazing! They did alot more then just getting me into golf 👇

Golf wasn’t cool when I was younger like it is now. Before I ever touched a club I would go out in the evenings with my grandparents (they lived on the course) and search for golf balls in the woods! We always found a ton! I would then clean the balls and sell them along with soda on the tee box they lived off (public course). I’m certain this is where my entrepreneurial mindset started!

They would then have me come out with them to play the 3 hole loop at a young age in the evenings. I started to get hooked..they then got me into a few clinics and by 12 I was all in 😍

Early on as I was becoming more interested I was also taught etiquette, how to regulate yourself, but more importantly how to treat others. Among so many other lessons…

I know my love for golf started because of my grandparents. I know my entrepreneurial spirit was influenced by them as well as I only worked harder as years went on and I’ve never had a job outside of the golf industry!

If I could ever have an influence on one person I hope it’s half of what my grandmother and grandfather did for me 🙏

I love Sedgefield Country Club as one of my favorite PGA TOUR courses I’ve coached at. Risk/reward off certain boxes, approach iron play is paramount for the right leave, awesome undulated greens, very grainy around the greens regarding short game. Hits all the boxes for me Wyndham Championship 💪
