Congratulations to Anthony “Lil Cap” Caponegro on his 100th career win! 💯🤼‍♂️

Anthony’s journey started right here with Jamesburg Wrestling when he was just 5 years old, and through years of hard work, commitment, and love for the sport, he has reached an incredible milestone — becoming the 10th wrestler in Monroe High School history to earn 100 wins.

This accomplishment is a testament to Anthony’s dedication, discipline, and the countless hours he’s put in on the mat. From youth wrestling practices to high-school competition, he’s always led by example and shown what it means to stay focused on your goals.

As Lil Cap himself says:
“You want to want it.”

We couldn’t be more proud to have watched you grow through the Jamesburg Wrestling program and into the wrestler — and person — you are today.

Congratulations, Anthony, Coach Cap and Family! The Tribe is proud of you. ❤️🖤

All past, present and future wrestling mom’s rock!!

All past, present and future wrestling mom’s rock!!

Wrestling moms are rarely seen, but they are always present.

They are the first ones awake on tournament mornings.
Packing bags.
Checking weight.
Double checking headgear, shoes, singlet, snacks.

They absorb stress quietly.
While everyone else watches the match, they are watching the child.

Wrestling moms learn early that this sport offers no guarantees.
No promises.
No protection from disappointment.

Yet they show up anyway.

They drive countless miles with no recognition.
They sit through losses they cannot fix.
They stay composed so their kids can feel safe falling apart.

Most people only see toughness in wrestling as something learned on the mat.
They miss the emotional discipline learned in the stands.

Wrestling moms teach patience without speeches.
Support without control.
Strength without spotlight.

The sport develops wrestlers.
But it also forges mothers who understand resilience in its purest form.

GMC’S DAY 💪🔥

Proud doesn’t even cover it. This young squad showed up, competed hard, and battled all day. Every match, every point, every teammate had each other’s backs. We may have fallen short of the team goal, but make no mistake — this group is building something special.

Tough. Gritty. United.
Great team effort — that’s all we can ask for.

Tonight was about more than just winning on the mat.
We took time to celebrate our 8th graders and the incredible moms who stand behind them every step of the way.

From early mornings to late nights, rides to practice, tournaments, encouragement after tough losses, and celebrating every victory — without our moms, we wouldn’t be what we are.

We’re not just a team.
We’re not just a program.

We’re a family. ❤️

Thank you to our 8th graders for setting the standard, and thank you to the moms for everything you do — seen and unseen. 💪🤼‍♂️

Tonight is Jamesburg’s LAST home match of the season! 🏟️🤼‍♂️

Come out and support the boys as they take on New Brunswick at 4:30 PM.

This is a special night as we recognize our 8th graders, who will be wrestling their final home match before moving on to high school.

Let’s show them what Jamesburg pride is all about — pack the gym and cheer loud!

This 👇🏻

Wrestling will break your kid’s heart at some point

They will lose
They will cry
They will question themselves

And that’s exactly why it works

Wrestling teaches kids how to lose without quitting
How to work without guarantees
How to face pressure alone and still stand up

No shortcuts
No excuses
No blaming teammates

Just effort and accountability

That’s uncomfortable
But it’s powerful

Years from now
They may forget most of the matches

But they won’t forget what it felt like
To fight through something hard
And survive it

That lesson stays forever
