Curling season Fall Kick-off Feather Bowling event!
Join us October 9, 2026, from 6–8 PM at Cadieux Cafe in Detroit for a fun evening of Belgian feather bowling!

📍 4300 Cadieux Rd., Detroit
💲 $20/person — members & guests welcome

🍽️ Arrive by 5 PM to enjoy Belgian food, beers, and the special Feather Bowler’s Belgian Dubbel. Food & drinks are on your own tab.

Casual dress is perfect, but flat shoes are required for the dirt lanes. No age or strength requirement, so bring the kiddos!

Detroit Curling Club member Jay Clark had a fantastic time at the Josh & Jase event, proudly representing the club! 💙🥌

We had a fantastic time at the ballpark on August 7th! Our group enjoyed an exciting evening at UWM Field Patio (formerly Jimmy John’s Field), cheering on the Eastside Diamond Hoppers as they took on the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers.

From the All-American BBQ picnic and patio seating to the photo on the field, scoreboard recognition, mascot meet-and-greets, and kids running the bases, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you to Abby Bond for organizing and everyone who joined us and helped make it such a fun and memorable night! We’re already looking forward to our next group outing!

Join the Friends of the Ferndale Library on Monday, August 10 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Martin Road Park (by Orchard and Farrow) for our quiet book club for the month of August! Bring a book and a seat if you'd like, and read in quiet camaraderie with those around you. We'll have light refreshments.
