This weekend our Lady Jackets traveled to Chambersburg, PA for their last ever 8U tournament… and it was a challenge to say the least.

On the field, we’ll admit — we took a few steps backwards from the game we’ve been working so hard to build all season. The rules were different, the pace was faster, and it wasn’t the style of softball these girls have grown into playing. It wasn’t our usual game.

But we showed up. We competed. We played hard. We took our lumps, learned from them, and then we did what this team does best…

We made memories. 💛

After the cleats came off, the girls went back to the hotel and spent the night swimming, laughing, running around, and just being kids. The smiles were big, the laughs were loud… and honestly, that goes for the parents too.

We don’t know what the fall season will bring or where every girl’s journey will take them. So this weekend became more than softball. It became a weekend to hold onto — a reminder of the friendships, the bonds, and the little family these girls have built over the last 3 years.

This team isn’t perfect. The coaches aren’t professionals. We don’t have all the answers. But what we do have is something pretty special — a group of girls who truly love being together, love this game, and love showing up for each other.

Who knows how long these moments last… but right now, we’re going to soak up every single one. The wins, the losses, the hotel nights, the pool laughs, the friendships, and the growth — both on and off the field.

Because years from now they might not remember the score… but they’ll remember this.

And for now, it’s back to work as we gear up for our last tournament of the season - Hoco’s Summer Sizzler!

Another weekend, another opportunity to get better.

Our Lady Jackets traveled to Catonsville this weekend to take on Edreco 10U in a double header, finishing the day with a tie and a WIN!

The growth continues every time these girls step on the field. Our developing pitchers got valuable reps in the circle, our defense challenged themselves in new positions, and our bats came alive with the girls putting the ball in play.

Every inning, every rep, every game — we keep building. Brick by brick.

The Lady Jackets hit the road this weekend, traveling all the way to Bel Air, MD to take on the Hickory Lady Hornets 10U — and came home splitting the day 1-1.

Game 1:Haven held it down in the circle, battling through 4 innings and racking up 9 strikeouts. At the plate, the top of the lineup understood the assignment — working counts, showing patience, and getting those bats fired up. The girls fought hard until the end but came up just short in a 6-10 battle.

Game 2:The Jackets came ready to respond.

Harper was dealing from the circle, striking out 6 batters and locking in two scoreless innings — giving our offense the chance to get rolling.

And the bats answered. Every single girl in the lineup found a way to get on base. Charlie and Gisele each came through with a double, bringing some big swings and momentum to the offense. Whether it was a big hit, smart baserunning, or patience at the plate — the confidence and growth of this team was on full display.

The defense continues to level up every week with milestone moments happening all over the field. Eva came up HUGE with two catches in the air — one at shortstop and another behind the plate at catcher. Harper added a beautiful catch out in left field, showing just how much these girls are growing in every position they step into. Isabella had center field on lock, not letting a single ball get past her.

And on the bases? Aggressive. Smart. Confident. Stolen bases all around — including our first stolen base on a walk!

This group continues to prove that the work is working. Every practice. Every game. Every inning.

We’re closing the gap. We’re getting stronger. We’re getting more confident. And most importantly — we’re getting better every single week.

Rain or shine. Holiday or not.
These Lady Jackets just keep showing up.

Yesterday may have been a scheduled day off, but 6/10 girls still came together to put in extra work. At 9 years old, that kind of dedication is something special to watch.

The drive to get better. The willingness to keep sharpening the fundamentals. The love for the game. You can’t teach that kind of determination — and these girls have it.

But just as important… they’re still kids. And no matter how hard they work, practice still ends with laughs, smiles, and having fun together.

Way to go Lady Jackets!

We are a first-year 10U travel softball team heading into our second season in Fall 2026. A group of 10 girls who simply love the game, the grind, and each other.

After transitioning from rec to travel this year, we’ve embraced the challenges that come with competing at the next level. As one of the youngest and smallest teams in the league, we know growth doesn’t happen overnight — but these girls show up ready to work every single day.

Our program is built around development, fundamentals, and team culture. With an experienced coaching staff that includes former high-level athletes, dedicated hitting instruction, weekly pitching/catching workouts, team batting practices, and year-round training through our indoor facility, we are committed to helping these girls grow both on and off the field.

We compete in the Central Maryland League along with tournaments throughout the region.

Most importantly — we believe in a work hard, play hard mentality. From practices and games to monthly team bonding events, we’re building more than softball players… we’re building teammates, confidence, friendships, and a family.
