FIRST CML DOUBLEHEADER IN THE BOOKS!
Our 10U Lady Jackets took on the Hickory Lady Hornets this weekend for our first CML doubleheader at home and what a day it was! We split the day —
dropping Game ONE 3-5,
before battling back to take the W in Game TWO 4-3.
And WOW… it was HOT! ☀️🥵 With the sun blazing and humidity at its finest, these girls battled through 180+ minutes of game time and gave us SO much to be proud of!
Our pitchers were absolutely incredible. Both girls went the distance — a FULL game each — which is an accomplishment in itself at this age. But the way they competed? 🔥
Haven’s consistency at the plate was something spectacular to watch. She racked up 10 strikeouts with just 1 walk.
Harper had a tough start, walking in 3 runs early, but once she locked in, she completely settled down — finishing with 8 strikeouts, ZERO hits allowed, and no more runs given up. Talk about battling back!

So many big plays, big moments, and little victories throughout the day.
The best part? We’re seeing the things we practice show up on the field. The girls are learning, adjusting, competing and progressing — and that’s exactly what we want to see. And as always we’ve got lots more to work on as we head back to practice.
but this team is just getting started… and we couldn’t be more excited for what this fall has in store.
