Hi everyone! Alysia here!
I wanted to personally share some news about the future of DSA Baseball! After an incredible few years as Baseball Commissioner, it’s almost time for me to pass the torch.
When I first stepped into this role, I didn’t have some grand vision for the program. Truthfully, I was just a parent willing to volunteer when no one else was stepping up. But somewhere along the way, simply helping out turned into something so much bigger.
From movie nights at the field and cheering together at Frederick Keys games, to bringing our baseball community together with an amazing small-town parade float, MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competitions, and even players advancing to the World Series level — what an incredible ride it’s been!
We’ve grown the program, created new traditions, and hopefully given our kids memories that will last long after they’ve hung up their cleats.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, and so grateful to the coaches, volunteers, and families who helped make it all happen.
While I still have one more spring season ahead of me before wrapping up at the end of June, I’m excited to introduce Mike McNulty, who will officially take the reins this fall! I’m looking forward to making this last season a great one and helping set Mike up for success as DSA Baseball enters its next chapter.
And don’t worry, I’m not going far. You’ll still find me at the fields, probably with a coffee in hand, cheering on my DSA kids. ❤️
Here’s to the next chapter of DSA Baseball! ⚾
DSA Welcomes Our New Recreational Baseball Commissioner! We’ve Hit a Home Run!
DSA is excited to announce that Mike McNulty has been appointed as our next Recreational Baseball Commissioner!
Mike brings a passion for baseball, experience coaching within DSA, and a strong commitment to creating positive youth sports experiences for our athletes.
Mike will work alongside our current commissioner, Alysia, throughout the Spring 2027 season before officially stepping into his new role in Fall 2027.
Please join us in congratulating Mike and welcoming him to the DSA leadership team!
DSA Seeking Recreational Softball Commissioner!
Step Up to the Plate! DSA Needs YOU!
Love softball? Ready to take a swing at making a difference? DSA is looking for our next Recreational Softball Commissioner!
This volunteer leadership position is a home run opportunity to help shape the future of our softball program!
The Softball Commissioner helps coordinate registration, team formation, scheduling, league communication, sponsorships, and coach support. You’ll work closely with the DSA Board to keep our program running smoothly and make every season a grand slam for our players and families.
No need to cover all the bases alone! Our current commissioner will remain in place through June 2027, allowing the incoming commissioner to shadow, learn the ropes, and gain hands-on experience throughout the spring season before officially taking over in Fall 2027.
Registration credits included!
