Waterfalls and Back Roads of North Georgia

This is Barker's Creek Mill located right off Betty Creek Road in Dillard, GA. This mill was built in the 1930s and served as a gristmill to local farmers. It is open to the public the first Saturday of every month from 1pm to 4pm and they grind local grits and cornmeal. Other days you can walk down the road and see it even when it's not operating.

Waterfalls and Back Roads of North Georgia

The Foxfire Museum and Heritage Center in Mountain City, GA has lots of old buildings and neat Appalachian Heritage exhibits. Located near Black Rock Mountain State Park and Clayton, GA. There are several waterfalls in our guides in this area so you could make a whole day of it.
