Next, we have a super familiar face around here one of our co-Directors Tammi Nowack!

Tammi has been coaching volleyball since her senior year of college — 24 years and counting. Originally from Michigan, she loves the camaraderie, sisterhood and mental growth the sport brings, and she takes pride in building a club where players become confident, powerful women both on and off the court. As a mom of four boys, Tammi often hears that she “never got her girl” — but with a full club of athletes every season, she says she’s got all the girls she needs.
Over her career she has helped start three club teams, won 40+ tournaments and coached 30+ players who went on to play college volleyball across Division I, II and III. She has built, led and coached programs in Michigan, Ohio, Florida and Georgia.
Now in her 4th season with RIPS, Tammi is stepping fully into the co-director’s role — focusing on coaches, culture and the long-term growth of the club. Her attention this year is on supporting the staff, strengthening the player experience and continuing to grow the game right here in northeast Georgia.

The ship would definitely sink without you Tammi, thank you so much for all your hard work! Coming in hot for season 5!

Next up! Let’s give a warm welcome to a new face, Jacey Kidd!

Hey my name is Jacey Kidd and I’m so excited to be assistant coaching this club volleyball team! I’ve been playing volleyball since 7th grade, and it has become such a big part of my life. I’m currently a junior in college and have had the opportunity to continue growing as a player while also learning so much about teamwork, leadership, and the importance of having a good attitude on and off the court.

I’ve always loved working with younger athletes, and I previously had the opportunity to help coach a middle school team as well at a small Christian school team back home. Those experiences made me realize just how much I enjoy coaching and encouraging younger players. There’s something so rewarding about watching a player learn a new skill, gain confidence, and see all of their hard work start to pay off!!

My goal as a coach is to help each girl become a better volleyball player while also making sure they enjoy the game and feels like the most confident versions of themselves!!

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to coach this team and can’t wait to see how much these girls grow throughout the season! 💕

We are so happy to have you this season jacey kidd

To keep the energy going, we keep rolling with some new, talented faces! We are very excited to introduce Rylee Gibson to the coaching crew!

Hey, everyone! I’m Rylee Gibson, and I’m so excited to be joining the RIPS family!
I’ve been coaching volleyball on and off since my freshman year of college and have had the opportunity to coach at the recreational, travel, JV, and varsity levels. I’m also heading into my third year of coaching middle school softball, so I definitely love spending my time on the court and the field helping young athletes grow and gain confidence.
When I’m not coaching, I’m a math teacher at Macon Middle School. I married my amazing husband last September, and together we have an almost two-year-old wild child who keeps life exciting and keeps us laughing every single day!
I’m beyond excited to be part of the RIPS family and can’t wait to share my love for volleyball, help athletes build their skills and confidence, and make lasting connections with some incredible players, families, and coaches. Looking forward to an awesome season and all the memories we’ll make together!

Thank you Rylee for coming onto the crew, we are so excited to see you bring these girls to life!

Next up is another new face to Rips Volleyball Club! We are so excited and ready to welcome Caitlin Raby to the family!

Hi, my name is Caitlin! I’m from Franklin, NC, and I’m a proud mom of two boys. I’ve been coaching volleyball for almost 11 years now! I started as an assistant coach at Macon Middle School and then began helping coach in our local recreation league. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to coach athletes ranging from ages 7–18.

For the past two seasons, I’ve been the head middle school volleyball coach at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School. This is my first season with RIPS, and I’m so excited to be here!

I played volleyball in middle school and high school, as well as on a travel team. This sport truly has my heart! I’ve loved volleyball since day one, and getting to share that love and passion with other athletes is quite possibly my favorite thing to do.

I’m so excited for this season and can’t wait to get to know everyone, make some great memories, and help these athletes grow both on and off the court! 🏐❤️

We can’t wait to see what you do with your team this season Caitlin! Thanks for being part of the club! Caitlin Raby

Next, we have a new face joining the Rips Volleyball team! We are so excited to introduce Bree Dickerson.

Hi, I’m Bree! I’ve loved volleyball since I was young and am excited to bring my passion for the game to RIPS. I played Varsity volleyball at Rabun County High School and have experience co-coaching 12U/13U recreational volleyball.

As a mama of two girls, I’m passionate about encouraging young girls to build confidence, work hard, support their teammates, and have fun while developing their skills. I believe volleyball is about more than the game—it’s about teamwork, growth, friendships, and making memories that last.

I’m excited to be part of the RIPS family and can’t wait to help our athletes grow both on and off the court!

Let’s wish Bree a warm welcome, we’re so excited to have you!

Let’s get excited to welcome back Bella Carey for another year at Rips!

Hello, I am Abbryella Carey! I have been playing volleyball for 10 years (still counting) and have played 7 years of club volleyball on a national team, along with middle and high school volleyball. I am currently playing in my second year of collegiate volleyball at University of Toccoa Falls as a libero.
I have 6 years of coaching experience, working with athletes ages 5–14 and assisting at the high school level for a boys team. I love helping young athletes develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a genuine love for the game. I believe coaching is about more than just teaching skills—it’s about helping athletes become confident, hardworking, and supportive teammates.
I’m so excited to coach 13U this season and help each athlete grow both on and off the court! I can’t wait to build a strong team, make great memories, and watch these girls grow throughout the season!

We are so happy to have to back Bella for another season, and we can’t wait to see what you do this season!

We are so excited to start announcing our new and returning coaching staff for the 2026-2027 season! Without these hardworking coaches, we couldn’t do what we do!
Let’s start with a familiar face, Katie Parker!
Coach Katie is going into her 8th year coaching volleyball.
She has coached all ages ranging from 12U Rec up to Head Coach for High School!
This will be her 3rd year coaching for RIPS and she is beyond excited to coach a younger generation of girls to help them fall in love with volleyball, just like she did at their age!

Katie also welcomed her first son, Ollie this last season! We are so excited for her growing family!

Let’s go Katie, we are so thankful to have you and baby Ollie!
