Dog Sports are exciting! But what do you do when they are….too exciting? You’ve been to all of the classes. You’ve read the books, watched the videos, listened to the podcasts, but now you’ve found yourself about to go into the ring. Your heart is pounding. Your nerves are jangling. And is your dog even aware that you exist?

This is all normal! But that stress and excitement can derail even the best prepared team. Meagan Skelton CCUI and Merissa Dubraque-Kreidler KPA CTP CCUI have been active in the dog sports world for years and have been through it. Merissa actively competes in agility, barn hunt, flyball, and more. Meagan actively competes in agility, herding, and obedience. But use Control Unleashed skills along with their own training methods and understanding of arousal to help their own dogs and others through this. And they can help you too!

I appreciate everyone who supported my shop last year. As a member of the LGBT+ community, I can't tell you how much it means to see so many people show up at events across the country in their pride shirts. And to hear how many compliments they get and how excited people are to see these designs means the world. This kind of ✨positivity✨ is what the dog sports community needs more of!

Wookie and I did a bit of ISC last weekend and she rocked it. We just entered grade one and two jumping on Friday and Sunday but that was enough for Wookie to win the overall grade one dog for the trial. Thanks Rising Star Canine Ranch/ Melissa Tiedemann and the Yorkie club for the great prizes and a fabulous trial. And if you want a crate mat or toy just like Wookie’s ( who doesn’t want to be like Wookie!) you can order them from Swipe Right Creations
