How to know if you’re our next Group Training Coach. If the high five is part of the rep, if you can run a full room and still remember whose knee’s been bugging them, if you’d rather explain the why than just call the rep, this one’s for you.

We’re hiring a part time Group Coach for small group strength training, evenings and weekend mornings primary. Three plus years of group fitness experience, a genuine love for people over programming, and the kind of energy that gets a whole room moving without losing anyone in it.

If that’s you, we’d love to meet you. Link in bio for the full role.

Train for your ascent. You’re in strong company.

Practice makes you more comfortable, your techique better, and helps you take it to the next level- but no amount of practice is going to make our team be able to swing a kettlebell in perfect sync. We all have different bodies, stances, weights, power, etc. We train alongside each other because workouts are better when you're in strong company.

It takes time to know if something works. If you're looking to get started in West Seattle, join us at Basecamp for 2 weeks of Unlimited Classes + 1 Personal Training Session for $199.

See our Story for the BTS of this for proof of our practice attempts.

We had the best time this summer working with the Youth Athletes who joined us for our Summer Strength & Performance small group classes.

This summer, we watched young athletes chase varsity spots, come back stronger after their first season, and discover what their bodies are capable of doing.

Our Youth Athlete program paired dedicated coaches with athletes ages 12-17, building the kind of foundation that lasts well past summer: strength, confidence, and the belief that trying, failing, and growing are all part of getting better. Huge credit to Executive Trainers Zoie Mastin for leading the programming with Steven Pust and finding ways to gamify and keep it both fun and functional.

If your athlete was part of this summer or if you’ve been looking for something like this, we’d love to hear from you!

Link in bio to let us know you’re interested in a year round Youth Athlete class, when it would work in your family’s schedule, and your athlete’s primary goals.

1:1 and partner training also available for a hyper customized approach.

Happy 4 Year Anniversary to Alec! 🎉

This year has been such a special year for Alec! Joining ownership of NWFP, becoming our Director of Product, getting engaged, buying a home, and stepping into a new teaching role at Seattle U, all while showing up for NWFP every single day.

Alec shows so much care for our gym and its members. We always value being great humans and great friends over great trainers, and Alec is the exceptional example of all three. Alec shows up as an uncle to those of us with children in the gym. Alec shows up as a friend, always a listening ear. Alec shows up as a mentor to our team members and those inquiring about the industry. All on top of being a fantastic coach.

“I feel incredibly lucky to train with Alec, who is not only a true expert in his field, but also incredibly skilled at making even the most sophisticated exercises feel approachable and completely un-intimidating. He somehow gets you working harder, lifting heavier, and feeling stronger than you ever thought possible, all while distracting you with great conversation and hilarious banter. An impressive feat!

Beyond being an amazing trainer, Alec is always willing to pitch in whatever is needed around the gym. You can tell how much he genuinely cares about NWFP and, even more importantly, about the people who make it what it is, members and staff alike. He’s a huge part of what makes NWFP feel so special.”

From coaching the floor to leading product as an owner, Alec has grown right alongside this place, and we’re better for it. Congratulations on the engagement to Katrina, the new house, and everything you’ve built here. Here’s to another year, Alec. We are lucky to have you!
