Committed to the philosophy that strength training is for everyone

Individually inspired exercise prescription to help clients reach their goals. With a background in clinical exercise and the mindset of an athlete, I work to bridge the gap between therapy and performance. Learn to perform at your highest level while preventing injury and reaping all the benefits strength training has to offer.

Nice effort shown here for a solid posterior chain session. I like making a point of building up my clients back side (😉) as overtraining "show me" muscles on the front of the body is all too common. Be smart, train for life

I'm one of those freaks who loves volume and a good lower body pump. This time I've gone too far. Give this a try if you have a death wish 💀💀💀

The safety squat bar is super versatile and allows you to hold on to the rack without having the weight fall off the back of you. I struggle with single leg stability on my right side so this was an attractive option trying to overload a unilateral movement.

On set 4 my legs were screaming and *nearly* ruined the rest of my workout.

I think that jumping right into working with the barbell is a mistake a lot of people make. Brian is new to strength training so we really made sure for him to "earn" the barbell. He has probably done more sets of goblet squats than he would care to admit, but grooving the proper motor pattern FIRST is so so so important for developing confidence under a barbell 👌 He's really bought into the process and the progress is hard to deny. Excellent work!

The first video was the first time I tried a sn**ch variation about one year ago. I still kind of suck at the olympic lifts, but it's interesting to see how motor skills accumulate through exposure and repetition-- even if it's not something you do every day.
It's kind of like a metaphor for life, man. Small little improvements made each (or every other) day compound themselves into progress that can be hard to notice if you don't take a moment to look back once in a while.

"Core" work doesn't have to be planks all the time!!

Controlled cadence yoke carries and some weighted bear crawls will light your trunk up (Among other things). Move with purpose and reap the benefits.

Remember, your core's job is to resist aberrant motion and provide a stable base for the rest of your body to transfer power from. I'll post more on that topic next time

It's like a broken lawn mower! Little sweat before calling today's workout a "good one". Remain tall and stable through the sled push. Extend at the hips purposefully 🍑
