As I sit here and reflect on the last 5 years of The Studio, I am truly overcome with so much gratitude.
What started in a tiny room under the stairs with just 1 reformer is now a thriving Pilates studio with the best team and the most amazing community a girl could ever ask for.
I remember during one of my last Pilates trainings being asked what I wanted to do — whether that was teaching group classes, privates, or something else. I remember saying that I wanted to open my own studio within the next 5 years.
Six months later, on August 10, 2021, we opened our doors.
For our first 11 months, we were The Pilates Room (any OGs remember?! 🥹), a small 800-square-foot room where we offered just a handful of group classes each week, and I also taught private sessions.
Within that first year, we grew so much that we moved into what is now our Reformer Studio. And within just a few months, I knew we needed even more space. So, we expanded into the suite next door, and that’s when we officially had a Mat Studio AND a Reformer Studio.
If you had asked me 5 years ago where I saw The Studio going, I never could have imagined where we are now.
And honestly, it’s all because of YOU.
You show up for yourselves each and every day. You share your love of Pilates with your friends. You’ve made new friendships. You’ve supported this business, believed in this dream, and helped turn something I once only hoped for into a reality.
You’ve made this girl’s dream of owning a Pilates studio come true.

Thank you for every class you’ve taken, every friend you’ve brought through the doors, every conversation you’ve had in the studio, every laugh, every sweaty workout, and every bit of support you’ve given The Studio over the last 5 years.
I’ve got even bigger dreams and plans for us over the next 5 years and I hope you’re ready…
Because we’re just getting started.
Here’s to 5 years of The Studio, and to many, MANY more years of Pilates, community, growth, and working out together.
