Friday Night Dance Lesson featuring Latin Cha Cha.
Friday, SEP 11th, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a group dance lesson including dancing practice to mixed ballroom music until 9 p.m. with instructors available. Line dances are included.

No smoking. No alcohol. Water is available. You may bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

No dance on Friday, September 4, due to Labor Day weekend, so we thought we would introduce you to another dancer. Find out, in her own words, why Spencer Wareing has enjoyed Cape Ballroom.

The atmosphere is always so welcoming and warm. I enjoy the flexibility for new and veteran dancers, the constant laughter, and the easiness of making new friends. I love ballroom dance and I am so thankful for this space to dance in Southeast Missouri.

American Style Tango features sharp movements and a cat-like and stealthy foot action. The music is in 4/4 time and has a marching rhythm. The dance became a big hit in the social setting and developed a very simplistic, codified move set.
