As the sun slowly faded into the western sky on Tuesday evening, precisely at 7:01 PM, 43 highly motivated, deeply passionate individuals, fueled by unbridled desire, sheer determination, and questionable life choices, embarked on a legendary quest.
Yes, friends, this is a dramatic tale about grown adults hurling 6" x 6" fabric sacks across a room at a piece of sloped wood 27 feet away. Are we dedicated? Absolutely. Are we passionate? Unquestionably. Are we completely unhinged? 100%. But these are OUR people!
Whether you're celebrating being on the podium 5 times in a week only to suddenly end up home early eating a lukewarm hot dog wondering where it all went wrong ๐ญ๐ซฃ, or you're crawling your way out of the B-Bracket trenches to claim ultimate glory: this silly little game has it all!

Round-robin wrapped up with Rob R. dropping a blistering, board-melting 10.75 PPR to sn**ch the Top Seed!
This set up our traditional half-time spectacle: The Airmail Pipe strutted onto the dance floor, proudly flexed its iron muscles, and ruthlessly denied every single challenger. It casually scooped up everyoneโs cash, deposited it into its dragon-sized vault, and yelled, "๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ง ๐ง๐๐ ๐, ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ!" ๐ณ๏ธ๐ฐ

With two 11-team brackets set, last weekโs big hero, Rath (The Glizzy King), partnered up with Master V. They were widely considered "the team to watch"... right up until they got sent home packing early! ๐ญ๐ Peng & Nate met a similar tragic fate.
Meanwhile, Joe T. & Dave N. were tearing through the field until they hit a speed bump, courtesy of King Seat holders Rob R. & Joey G., who sent them down to the lower bracket.
Joe just shook his head in disbelief: "๐ก๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป." After wondering how the heck he ended up in the B-Bracket last week with a 10.05 PPR, his eyes locked in with laser focus on pure redemption. Matt B. & Bryan D. put together a fantastic run, but ultimately fell to Joeโs crusade to finish in a solid 3rd place! ๐ฅ
This set up the Grand Finale against Rob R. & Joey G., who were sitting back in the King Seat casually munching on famous chocolate chip cookies made by Deb. ๐ชโจ
Worried about the legendary King Seat Curse? YOU BET THEY WERE! Joe T. & Dave N. ("Mr. Silencer" himself!) stormed in, took Game 1, and then completely laid the smackdown in Game 2 with a brutal 21-5 double-dip victory to claim the championship!๐ฅ๐

Over in the B-Bracket, Frank & Everett forged an unstoppable path straight to the top spot to wait for their final challenger.
Deep in the lower bracket trenches, Richie Woo & Tyler were on a mission for glory, but ran straight into the brick wall of Mark B. & Michael K. After a tough battle, Mark & Michael sent Richie & Tyler home with a great 3rd-place finish.
The final championship showdown was a 12-minute, all-out, high-speed assault! When the dust settled on a 21-18 thriller, Frank & Everett held firm to capture the B-Bracket crown! ๐
