What a beautiful day to be outside! And tonight we have another give back for an amazing team. We have had the privilege of knowing Claire and her family from the beginning of my takeover. She’s always been so enthusiastic about her racing, the light in her eyes when she talks about it is undeniable. We are thrilled to be able to support her and her journey to continue to be the best racer on the track. 🏆Oaklane Honda Sponsor Cup ❤️‍🔥 (buckle up, it’s a long one)

After the week we had, we weren’t even sure we were going to attempt this race. Uncle Larry came to the rescue earlier in the week after our truck broke down and got our trailer to the track. Then we had a mishap during practice that required some extensive repairs to the car. BUT Claire showed up to the races with her heart and her head in the game. 🩷

Qualifying: 5.779 (2nd out of 15 💨)
Feature: P2 to 🏆🏁

She fell to 3rd on the start being on the outside, and after a mess she couldn’t avoid, Claire’s car flipped. The car wasn’t perfect after that, but luckily she can drive just about anything. Since she was after the fact, she restarted in P1 and never looked back, carefully navigating lapped traffic. We are so proud of her smart driving, unbreakable spirit and determination.
