I started this business at 21, living in Paris, with f**k all figured out except how to get clients results
Getting a client every result they came for, is the only thing I’ve ever actually cared about.
If I didn’t have to do marketing, I wouldn’t.
I’m more gassed watching a client hit a goal than I ever was hitting my own
And somewhere along the way, that’s got lost in this industry.
Scroll Instagram for five minutes and you’ll find more money grabbing di*****ds treating clients like s**t than coaches who actually give one.
“Coachable.” “Non-coachable.”
F*ck off.
You’re s**t at your job. Coaching clients is the job.
Some of my clients are easy to work with
Others come with more going on, more to unpick, more to work through together before the plan even matters.
Does that make them uncoachable?
No. It makes them a person
More going on doesn’t mean less capable, it means the job takes more than a PDF and a “let me know how you get on.”
None of us are dealing with the same s**t.
Coaching was never just writing a plan and telling you to crack on
It’s coaching the way you think, what you believe about yourself, the habits you default to when nobody’s watching, how you react when it goes wrong…
That’s the job
Not one of these results or reviews in this post had it easy, they all had things go down, things try to knock them off course, things that made it more difficult
So what did I do?
Tell them I couldn’t work with them and they were uncoachable?
No, I f*cking coached them
And look at what they were able to achieve…
