Bike Swap and Show & Shine 🎉

Save the date! 4th of July, 10am to 1pm at Clyde Quay school hall.

Got bike parts you'd like to sell? Or a project that's missing a few key parts? Then the Bike Swap is for you! Book a table, dig through your garage, and free yourself from those parts you really don't need anymore.

Got a cool bike but don't want to sell it? Well you're in luck, we're also hosting a Show & Shine! We'll have awards for "Best in Show," "Best Vibes," and "People's Choice."

Alongside the main events, we'll also have a photo booth to immortalise your bike, coffee supplied by Coffee Supreme , and a sausage sizzle. All proceeds will go to support the good work done by our friends at the TheMechanicalTempest

The idea of 'one bike for life' might be a fallacy, but the Uprock definitely gets close!

With a titanium frame, sliding dropouts, external cable routing, and just the right amount of braze ons, the Uprock is ready for (almost) anything. This particular build has been built with longevity in mind, and we can't wait to see it clock up some big miles over the coming years ✨

If you've ever ridden Mt Vic, helped on a dig day, or been involved with replanting natives, you'll have met Vicky. Always positive and ready to lend a hand, Vicky has left her mark all over the hill.

When the time came for Vicky to retire her old Intense, we jumped at the opportunity to help get her on a new bike. And new bikes don't get much better than a fresh Bronson 🩷

It'll be tough to miss this bike on the hill, so make sure to say hi and thank Vicky for all the work she does!

Cross is back! Shoutout to for another fantastic race. Every year the team delivers the best cyclocross series in the country, and this year is off to a cracking start once again ✨

We understand that racing isn't for everyone, but Huttcross remains the friendliest and most inclusive race series we've ever come across. We'll be at all of the races this season, so come say hi if you see us out and about 👋

The link between Wellington and Petone is opening this weekend, and we're going to go check it out!

Meet us at the shop at 12pm this Saturday for a group ride out to Petone along the new shared cycle path. The pace will be gentle, with plenty of opportunities to stop for a snack or refreshment.

Everyone is welcome to join, and we're looking forward to seeing you there 🎉

Bye Elliott 👋

After two years of hustling, is off to Canada!

If you've been through the shop in the last few years, Elliott was at least partially responsible for making your experience more positive. From tracking orders, to keeping the shop presentable, and holding us all to account, there wasn't much Elliott didn't improve.

We're looking forward to following along on Elliotts next adventure, and grateful for all his help over the years. If you're in his part of the world, please say hi from us 😊

It's important to protect your head, and is some of the best in the game. We're excited to have a range of POC helmets in store, from the safety award winning Cularis, through to the Tour de France spec Cytal.

To compliment the helmets, we're also carrying a range of POC mtb shorts, bibs, and liners. If you're putting some winter miles in on the bike, you might as well be comfortable!

Perfectly to scale, with all the details we would expect from our favourite frame builder, we wish we could be smaller so we could take it for a rip!
