We're so hyped to have the incredible Luke & Zoe as Simply 2026 Masters! They'll be teaching two workshops:

Body Language (Open) - "Discover how much more you can say when your body leads and your arms simply follow. Less arm. More body. More connection."

Micro Musicality (Advanced) - "How do you make your dancing look different enough that we can tell what song you’re dancing to—even without hearing the music?"

Play With the Phrase (Open) - "What happens when you change the phrase, interrupt the expected, or simply pause?"

Where Do We Go From Here? (Advanced) - "What happens when we stop following a set sequence and start creating together in the moment?"

📅 A bunch of our crew are taking a well-deserved break, packing their bags and heading over the ditch to Le Step Dance Company - Brisbane's Ignite!

While they're away, we're a little light on the ground in Wellington so we've made the decision to reduce our class schedule slightly. iDance will be closed next Thursday (no classes or freestyle), and we're going to skip the next few Outside the Box classes too.

Regular programming will resume on September 3rd!

🎉 Registrations for Simply Weekend 2026 are now open!

This year we've replaced the competition with more workshops and more social dancing, plus another surprise or two to be announced soon. We're also capping off the weekend with the "Alice in Wonderland" themed Waterfront Wonderland party at Foxglove.

More details, including workshop slots and info, will be released in the coming weeks. Reminder that you can update your registration right up until they close on October 9th.

🩷 Ngā mihi nui to everybody who came along to the Pink Party yesterday, we loved all your pink outfits! Together we raised $660 for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, so they can continue to fund education, research and patient support.
