Last weekend didn’t go the way we hoped, and we never got the chance to take the field for our mate Josh. This week, we go again — playing with pride, passion, and for a brother who meant so much to us all. We’ll wear our colours proudly and give everything for Josh.

Today’s Div2 game being called off due to the opposition defaulting is deeply disappointing, as we were all looking forward to coming together to honour our dear mate Josh. He was someone who meant so much to so many, and taking the field in his memory would have been incredibly special for our team and community.

While we didn’t get that opportunity today, the next one will be for you, Josh — and we’ll carry your spirit with us in the next game and every game after.

Our junior teams will still be taking the field today in Josh’s honour, proudly wearing black armbands as a mark of respect and remembrance. We know Josh would have loved seeing our young players out there enjoying the game he was so passionate about.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Josh.

Josh was a man of many talents, especially when it came to sport. His passion, commitment, and loyalty to his clubs never went unnoticed, and he was always there to support his teammates and community through every win and loss.

He carried himself with pride, determination, and a genuine love for the game. More than just an athlete, Josh was a great friend and supporter whose presence left a lasting impact on everyone around him.

He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
