Thanks so much to everyone that joined us last weekend for another fun tournament.

Heaps of awesome squash and a great evening catching up and connecting with our squash family and friends - all the more fun when it is in fancy dress.

⚫️⚫️North Canterbury Interclub – What a Season! ⚫️⚫️

As the North Canterbury Interclub season comes to an end, here is a little update:

The season kicked off back in April, with 14 teams competing from clubs across North Canterbury. We entered one team for the season. Matt, David B, Anmol, Mel and Michaela have been representing Kaikōura most weeks. Thank you for your commitment, determination, and great sportsmanship.

We have finished the regular season in 2nd place, just 4 points behind Amberley’s second team. What a fantastic achievement by the team! Congratulations!!!

A huge thank you to Mel for all the hard work behind the scenes organising another successful interclub season and thanks to Matt for driving.

We would also like to thank Chantal, Tim, Dave M, Sam, Dylan and Chris for stepping in whenever needed. It’s really appreciated.

One of the highlights of the season was hosting the North Canterbury Challenge in June. Players from clubs across North Canterbury travelled to Kaikōura to take on similarly graded Kaikōura players in a fantastic evening of squash. Plenty of five-set battles showcasing just how evenly matched everyone was. This year, Kaikōura came out on top.

The season isn’t over just yet—playoffs are only a few weeks away! Good luck to the team as they look to finish the season on a high.

Join us for our annual Masters tournament taking place on the first weekend in September - enter on MySquash.

Kicking off on Friday, September 4th we promise it will be a great weekend of squash and lots of fun on and off the court.

And when play wraps up on Saturday, it's time to swap your squash shoes for a costume!

What an awesome weekend of squash! Heaps of awesome rallies, many close games and plenty of thrilling five setters.

Shoutout to the runners-up Charlie Barker and Victoria Moran for an amazing performance throughout the tournament.

A huge thank you to everyone who travelled to Kaikōura to compete and support the tournament. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout, and we hope you all enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.

We are already looking forward to welcoming you back next year — or sooner at our Masters Tournament in September!
