Our marching family is growing, and we’d love you to be part of it.

All four of our teams are now recruiting, and you don’t need any experience - just a willingness to learn and be part of a supportive, close‑knit team.

Marching is a niche sport, but that’s what makes it special. We rely on each other, celebrate together, and grow together.

If this sounds like something you’d love to be involved in, we have teams for all ages.

NZ Champs 2026 - What a Weekend for Our U18s

An incredible time our girls have had at NZ Champs this year. From taking in the sights of Wellington to training hard and giving their all on the competition floor, this group has shown heart, grit, and so much growth.

For two of our long‑standing young ladies, this weekend has been especially emotional. It marks their final march with our U18 team as they age out, and today brought more than a few tears from teammates, coaches, and supporters alike. Their leadership, loyalty, and spirit have shaped this team in ways that will be felt long after they move on. We couldn’t be prouder of them.

Friday’s nerves definitely made themselves known, but even then we saw flashes of the hard work these girls have been putting in. Saturday’s goal was simple: settle, reset, and improve. And wow - did they deliver. The improvement, the confidence, the teamwork… we are walking away so incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

Tomorrow brings a little more fun before we begin our journey home, but one thing is certain: this team has made memories, built bonds, and shown what it truly means to represent with pride.

Well done, girls. You’ve done yourselves - and all of us proud.

A huge congratulations to all teams who competed this weekend. The talent, sportsmanship, and passion on display made NZ Champs something truly special.

Marie, Kimmy, Gael - and your wonderful support crews - thank you for getting behind our U18 team. Congratulations on an impressive dash around the store. We hope you enjoyed every second and managed to scoop up all the goodies you were aiming for.

To Braedan and the amazing team at Elles Road New World, thank you for partnering with us. Your support, enthusiasm, and encouragement of our winners truly made the morning special.

Our team boards a plane tomorrow for Wellington to compete at the New Zealand Championships this Friday and Saturday. Everyone who bought a ticket or donated helped us reach the final fundraising target we needed, and we are incredibly grateful.

Southland Championships – Our final local competition of the season

What an incredible day for all our teams at the Southland Championships.

For our Kiwis (OFC Team), this was their final march of the season, and we couldn’t be prouder. These young ladies have shown dedication, growth, and heart all year. A huge credit goes to their coach, Amelia‑Jayne, and their wonderful chaperones, Sharlene and Juanita, for guiding them every step of the way.

Our U13s, who began the season as a new team, have blossomed into a tight, enthusiastic group. Their hard work paid off today with a 3rd place Southland U13 Display Team. They’re now excited to finish their competitive season with a trip to the Otago Championships next weekend.

Preparing for the New Zealand Championships in just three weeks are our determined U18s. These girls have been pushing themselves to refine their skills, and today they proudly received 2nd place in both the Southland U18 Tech and Display. Even with only two teams in the grade, the recognition is a well‑earned confidence boost as they head toward Otago Champs in Dunedin next weekend and then NZ Champs in Wellington.

Our Blue Jay Seniors began simply as a group of ladies wanting to get back out on the field for the love of marching. With growing interest, they reached competitive numbers and thought - why not! They’ve enjoyed every moment together this season and will have their final competitive march next weekend at Otago Champs in Dunedin to.

It has truly been an amazing season for all our teams. We couldn’t be prouder of every marcher, coach, team official and supporter who makes this club what it is.

Best wishes to all teams heading to Otago Champs next weekend, and to our U18s as they prepare for the New Zealand Championships in Wellington.

Your home team will be cheering you on - loud and proud.
