Here's something the fitness industry doesn't talk about enough.

Three moderate sessions a week, done consistently over six months, will get you further than two weeks of intense daily training followed by burnout and three weeks off.

Your body adapts to what you do repeatedly — not to what you do occasionally and desperately.

This is why we build programmes around your real life at CoreWise. Not the version of your life where everything goes to plan. The actual one — with the busy weeks, the tired days, and the competing demands on your time.

Showing up imperfectly, regularly, is the strategy. 🌿

Tell me in the comments — what does "consistent" look like for you right now?

Woop! Love me a delivery day! No ads, I just personally love their products. Others are available.

I try not to load up too much on supplements but some are just too good to miss out on, especially with perimenopause kicking my ass!

Collagen for my hair, skin and nails, helping me to keep my youthful looks. 😆 But in all seriousness, I’ve noticed a big difference in all three since I started taking them and backwards progress when I run out.

Creatine has a huge amount of evidence behind it now (and an increasing amount specifically for women of a certain age ahem). 👀 I find it helps with mental clarity a lot, which is something I’ve really struggled with during perimenopause.

Electrolytes have been a game changer. A few months ago I was finding myself constantly thirsty. I simply couldn’t drink enough water daily and as a result was constantly on the toilet. After doing some research, I decided to try an electrolyte and what a game changer!

I still drink around 2 litres of water a day - a healthy amount, more if the weather is hot or on a hard training day (not many of those lately cos thanks Covid but one day…). But I find that it’s enough with just one scoop of delicious Tropical flavour). I’m no longer always thirsty and my toilet trips are waaaaaaay less frequent. 😆

Inulin fibre is a new one for me. I know that even on my best days, I struggle to get enough fibre from my diet and so I’m hoping this might help.

Also gutted that my most fave chocolate orange protein bites were out of stock. I could literally live off those! 🤣

As with all new supplements, I’ll be starting with a very small dose to allow my body to adjust and building from there to find my sweet spot.

I also don’t recommend starting a new supplement without getting professional advice, especially if you have any health conditions that might be affected.

I always use as I trust their products, ingredients and ethics. Their tagline of “Keep it simple. Do it properly. Make it accessible.”, really resonates with me.

What supplements do you swear by? Let me know in the comments. **t

Most people don't realise that how you breathe during exercise directly affects how well your deep core works.

Here's the simple version: your diaphragm and pelvic floor move together like a piston. When you inhale, both relax and drop. When you exhale, both lift and engage. That coordinated rhythm is what creates real core stability — not just a tight tummy.

So next time you're lifting, pushing, or even just going for a walk — notice your breath. Are you holding it? Bracing through it? That's really common, and it's also really worth working on.

Try this: exhale on the effort. If you're pressing overhead, exhale as you push. If you're getting up off the floor, exhale as you rise. It takes practice, but your body will thank you.

Save this one — it's a game changer. 🌿

The week you slept better because your nervous system is finally recovering. The session where the weight felt lighter than last month. The moment you realised your back hasn't ached in two weeks.

Progress shows up in places that don't photograph well.

We live in a world that rewards visible change — but the most important shifts are often the ones nobody else can see.

You're building something real here. Keep going. 💛
