Sitting Flexibility Challenge

Try each position including to the left and right where applicable. (It will feel weird crossing your legs the other way!)
Aim to hold each position for 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

What an inspiration to us all!
Age is no barrier to health and well being and Bryan is the perfect example of that!
I have been working with Bryan for 25 years. We have had many varied goals over the years and he has remained focused, committed, always turns up with a positive attitude and has the results to show for it!
He is the fitted 80 year old I know!

Lock down achievements:

Lots of sleep, family time, runs, walks, bike rides, home workouts, training clients on zoom and even got the art box out and painted some bubbles!

Level 3 is the same for us apart from the background sounds. Tom back at work so no more Iron Resurrection, Garage Rehab and Motorsport repeats! 😝

Homemade Muesli Bars

This was such a hit in the family I think I will leave the chocolate topping out next time to see if they last longer!

Ingredients

1/4 c linseeds
1/4 c pumpkin seeds
1/4 c sesame seeds
1/4 c almonds
1 c rolled oats
1/3 c cranberries
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 c peanut butter
1/4 c honey
1/4 c coconut oil, melted
80 g dark chocolate

Method

Mix dry ingredients in bowl and set aside.
Heat honey, peanut butter and oil in pot over medium heat till melted. About 5 min.
Add honey mixture to dry ingredients and mix well.
Press into lines slice tin.
If using chocolate, melt and drizzle over top.
Put in fridge for 30 min then cut.

Home workout that ended up being so rewarding... I actually cleaned my own windows!!
I used the 2 cloth method.
Cloth 1 was just a wet cloth that removed debris. A comfortable warmup.
Cloth 2 was a Norwex window cloth. This was the power, speed component as I had to dry the window before self drying occurred. This ended up being a cardio workout too!
The warm down involved letting other family members have a turn. 😂

Knackebrod is my new favourite cracker!
Sooo easy to make!
Such a great snack.

Swedish Cracker Bread

3/4 c fine cornmeal
1/4 c sesame seeds
1/2 c sunflower seeds
1/2 c pumpkin seeds
1/3 c linseeds
1/2 t salt
1/4 c oil
1 c boiling water

Heat oven to 150 degrees

Mix first 7 ingredients well in a bowl.
Slowly stir in the water and mix well.
Spread dough evenly on a sheet of baking paper as this as possible.

Bake until golden and crisp. About an hour.

Cool and then break into pieces.
