Dumbbell Lunge with Bicep Curls is a great exercise for improving your functional fitness as it mimics everyday movements.
Both sides of your body are working independently which will help correct any muscular
Imbalances you may have .

Standing Barbell curls primarily work the Bicep muscles , holding & lifting the barbell improves your forearm & grip strength .
The standing position requires you to engage your core muscles, shoulder & upper back muscles to maintan an upright position.
Barbell Bicep Curls also increase functional strength for everyday activities like lifting ,carrying and pulling objects .
I’ve been enjoying the benefits of weight training since I was 20.
I shall be 65 next month and guess what ?? I shall continue to enjoy the benefits of weight training

Hi ladies, summer is coming and it’s time to bring those arms out of hiding .
So lets get ready with some over head tricep extensions which will tone the back of your upper arm .
Triceps are not worked as much in everyday activities compared to other muscles , so go treat yourself to some xtra sets & reps for your triceps have fun , opps forgot …i better do some xtra sets & reps myself , I shall be 65 in December …looking forward to it …why you ask ….because the secret to enjoying life as we get older ….is being strong & healthy 🏋️‍♀️😊

Hi , so what’s the difference between the standard floor press ups and the SwissBall press ups ?
Using the unstable surface of the SwissBall forces your abdominals to recruit more muscle fibres over all , giving you a more complete abdominal workout .

Happy Anniversary 🏋️‍♀️🎉
Back in July 1981 , i was living in Brisbane and decided to go have a nosey at this local gym called Archer’s and they gave me a “free month trial”
End result here I am 44 yrs later at 64 … still working out … cheers to keeping strong & fit as we get older 🎉🏋️‍♀️
