Bhakti Flow
Flow into Belonging
Saturday September 12th · 12pm · with Kirsty van de Geer
What if belonging is not something we have to find?
What if, beneath all the ways we separate ourselves
our stories, our identities, our defences, our sense of being me and you
there is already a deeper belonging?
Bhakti is a remembering of this.
A softening back into the recognition that we are not separate from the life that moves through us, or from one another.
In this special Bhakti Flow, we’ll move, chant and open the heart through three beloved expressions of the Divine Feminine.
Saraswati, the flow of wisdom, creativity and authentic expression.
The courage to let what wants to move through us, move.
Durga, fierce compassion, courage and protection.
The strength to soften the armour and allow ourselves to be truly seen.
Lakshmi, the beauty of abundance, generosity and receiving.
The recognition that life is always moving through a sacred dance of giving and receiving.
Through movement, mantra and shared practice, we’ll explore devotion not as something we direct towards the Divine, but as a way of recognising the Divine here, in the body, in the breath, in the person beside us, in the space between us.
A remembering that perhaps we were never separate to begin with.
Come with your voice.
Come with your heart.
Come as you are.
And let us move together, sing together,
and flow back into belonging.
