Next Tuesday we’re hosting a cultural potluck.
We will share stories about our diverse cultures, and of course share some of the amazing food we bring!

What is better than sharing a slice of home and then sharing the warmth of you culture with it?
Bring a nice dish or dessert that reminds you of home and explains your culture in one bite (or two would be great!)

(PS. Please do not all bring desserts)

We will also discuss cultural shocks and funny occurrences you may have come across since moving to The Netherlands!

Student life can be a lot: studying, deadlines, work, friends, relationships, making choices and figuring things out. And somewhere in between all of that, there’s you.

Next Tuesday, we’ll have dinner together and talk about taking care of yourself. What helps you recharge? How do you take care of your emotional and social wellbeing? And how do you make space for yourself when life already feels full?

We’ll share tips, experiences and ideas, from small practical things to what helps when you’re stressed, overwhelmed or simply not doing so well. Because taking care of yourself sounds simple, but it isn’t always easy. Sometimes you know what you need, but don’t have the time, energy or headspace to do it. That’s part of the conversation too.

The intro days are over, and we hope you’ve met lots of nice people already! Now it’s time to get to know each other a little better; beyond the usual “What do you study?” and “Where are you from?”

Join us for a warm and fun evening with some nice activities, good conversations, and a chance to share a little bit of who you are. You only share what feels comfortable to you.

Come meet new people, make connections, and hopefully leave with a few new friends!

Here are some tips for moving in to find more affordable and sustainable things for your own place :)

Marktplaats - app where other people in the Netherlands are selling their stuff
Second hand corner in ikea - Ikea has near the end where you pay has this corner where they offer products for less money
Second hand stores and flea markets - To find second hand stores, especially with furniture, you can use the app called kringloop App.

What is ASP, and what do we actually do?

Come by next Tuesday at 19:00 to meet some of the people behind ASP and get a feel for what our evenings are like. We’ll do an activity together, talk, connect and explore some of the themes that often come up at ASP. Of course there will be plenty of time for games and meeting other people as well.

Chill & Game Night 🎲

We’re slowly getting back into work and study mode! Iris is back from her holidays this week and is really looking forward to seeing you all again.
