Foundation for Rugby Program

Build Your Skills. Grow Your Confidence. Understand Your Game.
Give your rugby development a boost with a practical, engaging program led by experienced New Zealand coaches Chris Stirling and Aaron Jones.

Designed to help players build strong foundations, this program connects the essential skills of rugby with a better understanding of how to train, prepare and keep improving.

Throughout the day, players will work on:
Core rugby skills — sharpen the basics that make a difference on the pitch.
Tackle confidence — develop technique and confidence in contact.
Body control — improve balance, coordination and movement when carrying into contact and tackling.
Understanding their role — explore how individual skills contribute to the team.
Personal development — build positive habits and take greater ownership of their progress

🏉 100 Years of Kanturk RFC! 🏉

To mark our centenary milestone, we sat down to look back on a century of incredible history, memories, and community spirit in a special anniversary episode of the Kanturk RFC Centenary Podcast.

A massive thank you to for hosting and guiding the conversation, and to for capturing and producing the visuals so brilliantly.

We’re deeply grateful to all our fantastic guests who shared their stories, wisdom, and memories on mic, as well as every single person behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to bring this project to life. Most importantly, thank you to our guests, supporters, and the entire Kanturk RFC family, past and present, for making this club what it is today.
