🏉 VECTIS RFC MEMBERS! WE NEED YOUR VOTES! 🏉
The World Cup 2026 is underway, and while England is chasing football glory, we have a massive opportunity to score some serious funding for Vectis Rugby Club through the “Goals for Good” campaign!
Every single goal England scores adds £60 into a massive donation pot—and at the end of the tournament, one lucky local club will win the entire lot.
We want that club to be Vectis Rugby, but we can't do it without our incredible community. The winner is chosen from the nominations, so we need every player, parent, coach, and supporter to get involved right now!

This tournament, we’re turning every England goal into something that gives back to local community sport.

For every goal England score, we’ll add money to our donation pot, and at the end of this year's World Cup, the total will be donated to the chosen local sports team or club. Nominated by YOU.

Each goal that England scores, we will add in £60 to our prize pot* At the end of the World Cup 2026, we will donate the total in that prize pot to a sports team or club one of you have nominated.

🏉 GIRLS RUGBY AT VECTIS RFC 🏉

Growing girls rugby is a huge focus for us this summer and we're excited to have Bo Riches helping lead the way.

Bo played for Havant U16s last season, is part of the England U16 Development Programme and England centre of excellence in touch rugby giving our girls the chance to learn from someone who is already achieving great things in the game. More importantly, she's someone they can relate to, look up to and be inspired by.

Tonight's session saw the girls enjoying touch rugby, developing their handling skills and even practising their try-scoring dives, all whilst building confidence and having plenty of fun along the way.

Whether your daughter is completely new to rugby or already loves the sport, we'd love to welcome more girls to join us as we continue to grow the girls' game at Vectis RFC.

🏉 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Touch Rugby Cancelled This Wednesday 🏉

Hi everyone,

Due to the travel restrictions around the Isle of Wight Festival this week and limited coach availability, we have unfortunately had to CANCEL this Wednesday's touch rugby session.

Safety and smooth logistics are always our priorities, and the festival traffic makes travel a bit too unpredictable this week! 🚗

The good news? We will be right back at it next week.
Next Session: Wednesday, 24th June

A massive congratulations to our Vectis Rugby Club coaches who completed Day 2 of their England Rugby Coaching Award today! 🎉

We were proud to see a fantastic turnout of coaches from all across the Island, alongside a few mainland visitors, all coming together at Priory School in East Cowes to develop their skills and support the future of grassroots rugby.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for dedicating their time and effort to raising the standard of rugby for our players. Our club thrives because of volunteers like you! 🙌
