AGM (annual general meeting) - we will be having this on Friday 13th May - see our previous post for committee roles available, we will be posting more about what all the roles involve shortly and how this will run so keep an eye out!

We’re announcing that our AGM is coming up, so get thinking about what role you want to run for…

If you have no idea what AGM stands for it’s the annual general meeting. Everyone votes on who they want their new committee to be, along with doing a few AGM traditions.

If you’re interested in running for Committee, look out for posts coming soon which will explain what each position does. Don’t be afraid to run for a position, it’s all good fun and not too much work. The old committee will still be around to help out and point you in the right direction!

Hello everyone!! Hope you're all enjoying the holidays and are looking forward to getting stuck into some kite and wake related fun this new year 🌊

There's a pretty cool opportunity for intermediate-advanced kiter so read below for that..... We also have some exciting no experience required events coming up very soon so stay tuned for those in future posts 🤙

We've been busy organising a VERY exciting event with SUSUs support! We are planning to kite from Southampton waters over to the Isle of Wight 🏝 If you're a competent and confident kiter who would be up for the challenge then the sign-up form will be released tomorrow at 5pm. Spots are extremely limited unfortunately due to safety boat requirements. If you don't want to miss out get filling in those details quickly!

This form is an expression of interest form and doesn't guarantee you will be granted a spot. Dates and times are to be confirmed but it will be during Semester 2. We will also be looking for people to do some filming of the event so if this sounds like something that might interest you there is a section of the google form that you can fill in. Hope you're as excited as we are!! 🌊 🏝

Hey guys - we're looking for new members to join our committee! This role is........"Wakeboarding Trip Sec". We've realised a lot of our committee are mostly keen beans for kitesurfing, so to help restore the SuWAKs equilibrium we're looking for some enthusiastic wakeboarders to join the team!

Yooo people!! Sorry it has been so quiet on here lately... Covid has been a bitch😕 Nevertheless, we hope to organise some lessons and mabye a trip in April when the rules start to relax a bit so watch this space. Also now is the perfect time to start looking for some kite gear so you are ready for the warmer weather, let us know if you need help finding some secondhand equipment.
