This season is turning out to be one nightmare after another 🤬

Just getting ready to load up this morning for Abingdon CAR-nival and noticed a noise and then spotted a fuel leak and then another fuel leak at the rear of the car on the filter.

The way this car is built the access to the lines are extremely difficult to get to with its carbon bonded panels and massive gear box.

Weather isn't favouring the slicks, so checked on the wets to find two of them not holding air. Can it get any worse??

Plan B - take the Scooby, no towing eye location on the front of the car available. Seems to be missing one altogether. I'll add that job to the list. So no racing again this weekend.

Fingers crossed for some luck with the repairs on Sunday/Monday so that can get out the following weekend at Gurston.

Ferry has been amended, hotel is still booked so off for a night away and a curry in Abingdon, a pizza in Wanatge and do some touristy s**t.

Motorsport UK, Manx Auto Sport and the Manx National Rally organising team are deeply saddened to confirm that a competitor participating in the Manx National Rally today has passed away following a medical incident during the Event.

Motorsport UK and the organising team extend their sincere condolences to the family, friends and the wider rallying community at this difficult time.

As a mark of respect, the stage on which the incident occurred will not be run again during the Event. The remainder of the rally will continue as scheduled.

The family has requested privacy at this difficult time and no further information will be released at present.
