It's with enormous pride we share this photo. Several years and lots of volunteers' time and energy has grown our 'foundation' phase girls' teams into this incredible group. Thank you to all their families for all your support.

Today our U9s played their first ever game in the IOW Mixed League. Great effort, quality goals and brilliant team spirit from start-to-finish. 👏⚽🩷
Their coach, Rich had this to say 🗣️ "They really hit their stride as the match went on. Seeing their confidence grow - and the parents beaming on the sidelines - was what grassroots football is all about"

📣⚽ An exciting season ahead for Vectis Girls. ⚽🙌
From U8 - U18, we're very proud of all the hard work volunteers put in to make these playing opportunities happen for over 100 girls.
We're also very excited to see the first players from our Girls Tots session enter the IOW Sunday Mixed League with teams in both the new 3v3 format, and in U8s. Whilst our U11, U13 and U15 with their well established squads will continue to enjoy games and tournaments with the IOW Girls. Lastly, our connection with Shanklin Ladies FC has enabled U18s to have a clear pathway into open-age football.
Thank you to everyone at the club who made this possible. Good luck to everyone involved in making this season the best one yet 🩵🤍🩵🤍

🤍🩵 A special thank you and farewell last night for these pioneering Girls. The first Girls team from Vectis to enter the Sunday Mixed league. After 2 brilliant seasons they're taking a change in direction.
An enormous thank you and appreciate to their manager Adam, whose countless hours of dedication and commitment made all the seasons possible for these girls. And to Ash for his support, who we're delighted to retain with other Vectis girls teams.
To all the girls moving onto new chapters, we wish you all the best with continuing your grassroots football journey. 🤍🩵
