First Touch / T1 session of off-season touch and OVER 60 PEOPLE rocked up. Sixty. In June. For running. Voluntarily. Someone check everyone’s alright. 😮‍💨🏉

A massive shout-out to every single person who came down — seniors, juniors, coaches, new faces, returning faces, parents, future stars, comeback kings and the “I’ll just see how I get on” brigade who were suddenly deep in it 10 minutes later.

The energy was ridiculous.
The numbers were massive.
The chat was questionable.
The effort was unreal.

The road map for the upcoming season has landed, and both our **Men’s 1st XV** and **Men’s 2XV** now know who they’ll be facing when league rugby returns. New trips, familiar faces, local rivalries, big Saturdays, and absolutely no shortage of “expert analysis” from the touchline. 🏉🔥

Our **Men’s 1st XV** will be competing against:
Brentwood Rugby Football Club II, Clacton RUFC Senior Rugby , Eaton Manor III, Kelvedon and Feering Rugby Club , Millwall Rugby Club , Old Cooperians Rugby Club, Rochford Hundred Rugby Club II, Thames RFC and Writtle Wanderers RUFC .**

Our **Men’s 2XV** will be taking on:
** Brightlingsea RFC, Thurston RUFC II, Colchester Rugby Club IV, Ipswich Rugby Club III, Mersea Island Rugby Club II, Bury St Edmunds Rugby Union Football Club IV and Clacton II.**

From local derbies to away-day adventures, from first whistle to clubhouse debrief, this season is shaping up nicely.

WARSAW RUGBY FESTIVAL… COMPLETED IT, MATE. 🏉💙🤎🤍

Witham Rugby went international, packed the boots, the questionable tour shirts and just enough hamstrings to survive the weekend… and somehow came back from Warsaw with SILVERWARE! 🏆 Huge shift from the players, massive noise from the travelling support, and a proper reminder that grassroots rugby hits@ different when Witham are on tour.

Represented the badge overseas, made some memories, probably lost a few voices, definitely lost a few fluids… but the trophy will be winging its way home. Warsaw, thanks for having us — Witham came, saw, and limped back slightly victorious! 💙🤎🤍
