🗣 5 Apps that will help achieve life admin goals
At Barratt Fitness, the overall livelihood of our students is paramount. We care not only about you during our classes but also outside of them, living your daily life!
That's why our content is solely based on fitness. We want you to achieve everything you want out of your day, week and life in general. Finding ways that can help manage that precious time more effectively and look after your mental wellbeing is always a big bonus in our book!
So here are 5 (actually 6, shhhhh!) apps that I think are essential for the everyday person who just needs a bit more organisation in their life!
📲Google Suite
Yes, there are a multitude of apps under this title but I'm lumping them all into the same category.
The simplicity of adding your account to a new device and the ease of sharing information makes this may number one platform.
My husband and I have a shared Gmail address which we sync to our phones so if either of us have something that needs the others attention, it goes into the joint calendar.
GAME CHANGER!
💸Mobile Banking
Again, yes there are a lot of apps again under this category, but go with me.
Regardless of whatever bank you use, most now offer mobile banking as service. This is a late addition for me but one, I wouldn't know how to live without now.
The best part is this new wave of tech had meant new banks have now sprung up and offering competitive rates compared to bigger names like Barclays, HSBC & Santander.
I, for instance, use Starling Bank and it has been phenomenal, not to mention live tracking & notifications of spending!
💶PayPal
Prior to me using mobile banking, PayPal was my go to platform for sending payments to people and even now, I still prefer it.
That's because PayPal have loads of extra security measures in place to handle your money whether that be receiving or sending. Especially for businesses, this is a great option as integration to other website platforms is easy, people already trust the service and you get protection through PayPal to make sure your money is secure.
I love it as well for its 0% finance!
But please remember to be responsible when using credit, ensure you can afford the monthly repayments (which PayPal shows you very clearly!)
🔑LastPass
If you haven't yet thought about using a password manager, then my god, you need to change that ASAP!
LastPass is a fantastic app that keeps all information I need daily locked away on my phone; it integrates seamlessly with iOS platforms and Safari to create, save and re-enter passwords to all your online accounts and applications.
I don't think I could survive without it now, plus it offers up the opportunity to create more secure logins with its random generator capability.
🩸Flo
Those of us who have a menstrual cycle will have heard of tracking apps to help navigate the world of knowing when 'Aunt Flo is coming into town'
Well, the Flo app does just that!
Pay for the premium service and you'll have access to lots of content such as articles, video blogs and expert webinars around sexual health, wellbeing and of course pleasure!
I primarily use mine for tracking my monthly cycle, which is vital for someone who works in fitness. I'm slowly learning how my body operates during different stages of my cycle & how I need to adapt my lifestyle and training to accommodate those highs and lows.
If you don't yet do this, I'd recommend giving it a try and writing down (which you can do direct in the app) how you feel throughout the month
A pattern may emerge!
📓MyJournal
Okay, so technically this is a 6th app but this one is a little more personal!
MyJournal is an app I found which helps guide you with daily journalling, writing out affirmations to start your day and other really helpful mindfulness practices & techniques.
A perfect way to get you started on the road to better mental health when you're not quite sure where to start
I personally use this app when I'm having low points. It helps me recenter and refocus on the things that matter and something I'd encourage anyone to do if they're struggling with life tasks currently.
And that's it!
We hope you will now go away and download all of these to help make you a boss in your life admin!
Tell us in the comments what app you like; is there one we haven't mentioned that needs to be shouted about??
