Today Whitby hosted Scarborough for the Yorkshire cup for the u13 teams in a wonderful sunny morning. Whitby micros rugby squad came over to the pitch and made an outstanding, very motivating tunnel for the two teams to run through onto the pitch. The game was a challenging one and with both teams competing very well throughout the game, the end result led to Scarborough getting the win.

Whitby played very well and put a team out to play their first game of the season and for some players their first ever game of the sport...

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the Scarborough Rugby Union Football Club families, coaches and players for a great atmosphere and this was hugely supported by our brilliant group of families and supporters this morning who encouraged and motivated the players very well. It was a brilliant showcase by both teams showing the RFU core values (TREDS)

🏅Teamwork
🏅Respect
🏅Enjoyment
🏅Discipline
🏅Sportsmanship.
