The RFU have decided to delay the beginning of the season.

We will be playing at our local rivals Scarborough Rugby Union Football Club 2/3s in a preseason friendly on the 12th of September.

After careful consideration and consultation with clubs across England, the RFU has decided to delay the start of the competitive community game season until the week commencing Monday 21 September.

The RFU recognises this will be disappointing for clubs, players and volunteers who have been preparing for the new season, but the decision follows consideration of a range of factors. For full details please follow this link.

One of our own, Ben Braim and his friends, Will and Cal are running the York Marathon in October to raise money for a charity that supports people struggling with addiction and mental health.

It's something very personal to them having lost people close to them due to these issues. They are going to be putting themselves through the paces and pain to raise money to help others in need and to honour the memory of those lost.

They would massively appreciate any donations that anyone was willing to give to go towards a great cause in aiding people struggling with mental health and addiction.
