𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹…
We take health & fitness pretty serious at FCF.
It’s an important part of life which people should take seriously.
That being said, you’ve got to have fun with it.
I was checking in on the progress of one of our Mens Transform members yesterday who Coach Jamie looks after and this was his reply…
It made me laugh out loud in the office!
This member joined 12 weeks ago.
He’s a stone down, weened himself of mental health medication and is much fitter & stronger.
Essentially he’s smashed his first block of training with us and is thriving!
It’s amazing to see and he deserves all the credit.
What’s he done to achieve these results?
What we’ve asked. Sorry to be ‘to the point’.
He’s trained 3-4 x per week with the group, he’s tracked his nutrition so Jamie can oversee it, he’s increased his steps and generally got out in the open air more.
It’s so simple, just not easy.
It’s not everyones number one priority, therefore that represents challenges.
This member and Jamie have worked collectively to create strategies to counter these challenges ensuring he stays on track.
That’s coaching.
His next goal…?
His reply to me was, “𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵”.
I have no hesitation he will achieve this.
The point of this post is to remind you that you’ve got to have a laugh along the way.
Our Mens Transform group are full of banter and camaraderie which makes the programme what it is.
