Today our first team played Oakley Diamonds in the Championship Plate Final.

We started the game really well and were awarded with our early pressure when Jack Constable scored to put us in front. 1-0. The opposition had a few chances to equalise but failure to take any but was punished when Jack Constable scored again to double our lead. 2-0.

The boys in red came out in the second half looking pretty dangerous but lacked quality in the final third which couldn't be said about us as Nesu Mangena scored to extend our advantage. 3-0. Our opponents kept going until the end and had opportunities to get back into the game but instead Ryan Zingwe scored to finish the game off nicely. 4-0.

🖤🤍 FINAL 🤍🖤

In less than 24 hours, our first team play in the Championship Plate Final at the Master Abrasives Stadium in Daventry.

Back on the 15th March, Oakley Diamonds got the better of us in a Championship fixture but in the Group Stages of this Plate on the 3rd May we got the better of them so one a piece in terms of victories meaning a close encounter is expected tomorrow.

Any support would be greatly appreciated so if you can come over to watch please do, £6 per person or two for £10.
