We are very proud of Michael McGlynn’s performances at the World Championships in Poland.
He won his first match 7-2 against an experienced Turk then powered through the second round 6-2 against a quality Estonian opponent.
Next up was the pool semi final against the current Asian champion the competitor from Iran.
The Iranian won this match and went on to claim bronze overall.
On behalf of the club we’d like to congratulate Michael on his performance at the competition but more importantly on his attitude and commitment to training week in and week out.
Back to the dojo and keep improving the medals will come 💪.
