Competing across just five race weekends throughout the season, Jay Coates still managed to fight his way to a brilliant 13th overall finish. It certainly leaves us wondering where he could have ended up in the standings had he been able to complete a full season on the bike.

Jay kicked off his season at Kirkistown, setting a best lap time of 1:12.10 and securing a fifth-place finish on the grid. It was a solid start to the season, with plenty of room for improvement and progress to come.

Heading to Bishopscourt for his first outing there, Jay made an immediate impression, finishing fourth in race one. He continued to build on that performance in race two, setting a 1:27.20 lap time and achieving a new personal best for the circuit, alongside a fantastic fourth-place finish on the day.

Back at Kirkistown, Jay continued to show his progression, setting a new personal best of 1:10.61. He followed that up with an excellent fourth-place finish before going even quicker in race two, recording another personal best of 1:10.28.

The next visit to Bishopscourt saw Jay continue to push forward, setting another personal best with a lap time of 1:26.03. Unfortunately, a crash brought his weekend to an early end, preventing him from building on what had been another promising outing.

Returning to Kirkistown, Jay showed just how far he had come by securing his best qualifying position of the season, starting from an impressive second place on the grid.

Back at Bishopscourt for another outing, Jay once again demonstrated his determination and continued improvement. In race two, he set another personal best of 1:25.67 and secured a fifth-place finish overall.

When you break down the results and look at the improvements Jay made every time he went out on the bike, it becomes clear just how impressive his season really was.

While Jay himself might not always have recognised just how much progress he was making, we certainly did. Sometimes, it takes stepping back, looking at the results and putting everything together to appreciate the bigger picture.

Every outing brought improvements, new personal bests and valuable experience. Despite competing at just five race weekends, Jay showed determination and plenty of heart every single time he lined up on the grid.

Finishing 13th overall under those circumstances is something to be proud of, and it leaves us excited to think about what might be possible with a full season behind him.

A fantastic effort from Jay, and a season that proves progress is not always measured by the final standings, but by the hard work, commitment and determination shown every time you get out on the bike.

Ella Mosgrove’s Incredible 2026 Season A Year of Personal Bests and Determination

Ella started her season at Kirkistown with a fantastic first outing, setting a personal best of 1:16.18 on day one. But she wasn’t stopping there! On her next run out, she lowered her PB to 1:15.96 in race one, before breaking it again with an impressive 1:14.68. Returning to Kirkistown, Ella continued to make progress, bringing her personal best down to an incredible 1:12.74.

At Bishopscourt, Ella’s determination and hard work continued to shine through. On her first outing at the circuit, she set a PB of 1:29.63. The next time out, she improved again, setting a new personal best of 1:29.44.
At the following round at Bishopscourt, Ella qualified in a brilliant third place in some seriously challenging weather conditions. She also smashed her previous PB, setting a new time of 1:27.71.

The final weekend at Bishopscourt was the perfect way to end her season. On Saturday, Ella set another personal best of 1:27.05, before returning on Sunday to go even quicker, finishing the season with a fantastic PB of 1:26.04 on her 250cc Kawasaki.

Every single time Ella hit the track this season, she wore her heart on her sleeve. The effort, determination and commitment she put into every race meeting, battling to keep up with those bigger 300cc machines, have been incredible to watch.

It hasn’t always been easy, and there have undoubtedly been tough moments mentally, especially when facing those long straights where there was very little she could do against the more powerful bikes. But Ella never gave up. She made the most of what she had, and when she reached the corners, that’s where she really shone!

To see her continually improve, pushing herself and finding those extra fractions of a second with every outing, has been a real credit to her hard work and dedication.
One of the standout moments of Ella’s season was achieving a fantastic fourth-place finish on her very first outing at Bishopscourt.

To come away with a P4 finish while competing against bigger 300cc machines on her 250cc Kawasaki was a brilliant achievement and a real highlight of her year. She went on to qualify in an incredible third place at a later round, despite seriously challenging weather conditions, proving just how much potential she has.

To finish the season eighth overall, while continually improving her lap times and smashing personal bests, makes her achievements all the more impressive.
If this season is anything to go by, we have absolutely no doubt that Ella has a fantastic career ahead of her, and we are so excited to see what 2027 brings!

Well done, Ella! Be incredibly proud of everything you have achieved this season. Your hard work, determination and never give up attitude have been amazing to watch. You have shown that heart and commitment can go a long way, no matter what you’re up against.

🏆 FOURTEEN AND A CHAMPION! PAIGE MULLEN CROWNED USBK MOTO ONE CHAMPION 🏆

Boss-E Racing #666 Paige Mullen has been crowned USBK Moto One champion after an outstanding debut season! 🔥

The final weekend of racing was cancelled, which settled the championship standings. Paige ends the year on top with a commanding 36-point lead over her rivals.

Paige only turned 14 last week, and she has already won a championship title, something many riders spend years chasing. What a way to finish her first season in Moto One! 🙌

🏁 A DEBUT SEASON TO REMEMBER

Across nine race meetings and 21 races, Paige quickly became one of the riders to beat. Her season record speaks for itself:

🔹 4 race wins 🥇
🔹 10 second-place finishes
🔹 2 third-place finishes
🔹 16 class podiums
🔹 Overall podiums at 8 of the 9 race meetings
🔹 A 36-point championship-winning margin

Her campaign got off to a strong start, with third in class in both opening races despite finishing fourth overall. From there she kept building momentum and delivered results week after week against riders with far more experience in the category.

💪 TAKING THE FIGHT TO THE EXPERIENCED RIDERS

What makes this title even more remarkable is the quality of the opposition.

For much of the championship Paige was just 13, racing riders with up to three more seasons of Moto One experience. Some of her rivals had also raced bigger-capacity classes in the USBK championship. Among them was the reigning Mondello Masters 400cc champion, one of the riders to watch all season.

Paige wasn’t intimidated. She took the fight straight to the established names and beat the reigning champion on several occasions. She proved again and again that age and experience don’t guarantee results when the lights go out 👀

📈 CONSISTENCY THAT SEALED THE TITLE

Race wins grab the headlines, but Paige’s consistency set her apart.

She took 16 class podiums from 21 races and overall podiums at eight of the nine meetings. That kept the points coming and kept her at the top of the standings. Every second place mattered and every podium strengthened her challenge. As the season went on, an impressive debut turned into a genuine championship-winning campaign.

The cancelled final weekend meant there was no last showdown on track. That takes nothing away from what she achieved over the season, and the standings confirmed it: Paige Mullen is the USBK Moto One champion 🏆

⚡ FOURTEEN YEARS OLD AND ALREADY A CHAMPION

For Boss-E Racing, the title is a fantastic reward for a season of hard work, commitment and determination. For Paige, it’s a major milestone in what promises to be an exciting racing career.
