A brave performance from the SAFC U15 girls tonight against a very strong Sion Swifts Flames side.

Despite the result not going our way, there were plenty of positives to take from the game. The team showed great character, worked tirelessly from start to finish, and played some brilliant football.

Performances like this show the progress this group is making every week. Plenty to be proud of and lots to build on.

Oisin played a massive part in our promotion-winning season and will always be remembered as a key member of the squad that brought history to Strabane Athletic by securing promotion to the Championship.

His contributions on and off the pitch were invaluable throughout the campaign, and we thank him for everything he has given to the club.

Strabane Athletic Ladies FC and Sion Swifts Ladies FC are delighted to come together in partnership for a special Charity Matchday in support of an incredible local cause.

Strabane AFC 2012 squad came out on top last night in a great game v Don Boscos at St Columbs park Derry.
Strabane conceded in the first minute after a very slow start , but from that moment on the game was end to end, a real treat for the spectators.

Both teams to their credit played some great football on a heavily sanded surface and Strabane came out on top in 6-5 goal fest.
This was the final game before the summer break and it was great to see every player involved on the night with Strabane using all of their subs.

Despite the changes SAFC looked the more composed team in the final stages and deserved the win on the night against a big physical Boscos outfit

Thanks to Don Boscos for a real competitive run out played in good spirit , this group now look forward to the Foyle cup competition in July were they face Bonagee Utd , Camlough rovers and Dungiven Celtic in the early rounds.
