💙”Well what a morning in Camus* 🤍

Strabane Athletic u14 girls welcomed Portrush FC to Camus today. With the uncertainty of the match going ahead without a referee, we want to thank Sophie Rose's dad Christy for stepping in the middle and ensuring the game went ahead and applaud him for a well officiated game.

What can we say? Theres very little that words could express for us in terms of how the girls conducted themselves today. A brilliant performance from every one of them today. They kept it simple, communication was great and the respect they showed Portrush was an especially proud moment for our coaches.

Goals from Farah (Hat Trick Hero), Holly x 2, Antonia x 1 and Ana x 1 saw us finish the game 7-0. Such a just reward for knuckling down on everything they've been taught to date. It really was fantastic.

Refs POTM was Alicia for her strong performance in the defence.

Coaches POTM was Sophie Rose. We could hear her communication throughout the game, the effort she put in and the never give up attitude was key to a lot of the attacks today.

We cant let the day go by without giving a special mention to Dara Moore. Dara played up to u14s today - a big ask from anyone her age. Dara slotted in brilliantly, like shes been with us all year. A great performance from her that shows the girls side of the club is producing some real talent. Well done Dara 💪

And well done girls on a convincing win today.
