💙 Roy McBrine Memorial Day 2026 💛
On behalf of everyone at Donemana Cricket Club and the McBrine family, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our first Roy McBrine Memorial Day and helped make it such a special and memorable occasion
A special thank you to The Nedd, North Fermanagh and Burndennett for making the trip to the Holm and taking part in our cricket tournament. Toby would have been absolutely in his element — he loved each of these clubs, and it was fantastic to see everyone come together in his memory 💙
Congratulations to Burndennett, who were crowned winners of the first Roy McBrine Memorial Trophy, A thoroughly deserved victory! 🏆
A huge thank you to George Walker for sponsoring the trophy, and to Richard Doc, Dwayne McGerrigle & Jordan McGonigle for creating and donating the bench in Roy’s honour & to John McDonald for the fantastic engraving 👏🏼
A huge thank you to James & Keesie for umpiring all the games, and to Hannah and all the book markers for keeping the scorebooks throughout the day 👏🏼
Thank you to Ronnie & Cathy for providing the food throughout the day, and to all our bar staff for their hard work on what was an extremely busy day 🍔🌭🍻
We would also like to thank everyone who donated prizes for the raffle, sold tickets and of course every single person who bought tickets 🎫
Your generosity helped make the fundraising such a success with all proceeds going towards Dennett Interchange Meals on Wheels 👏🏼
Finally, a big thank you to Just Us for keeping everyone entertained and helping create such a brilliant atmosphere throughout the evening 🎶
It was a fantastic day from start to finish, and most importantly, a wonderful way to remember Roy and celebrate the friendships and connections he made through cricket ☺️
