Cadwell race - P8

I knew it was going to be tough starting from 10th on the grid especially round cadwell. I made up good ground on the opening lap making up 3 positions, I settled in behind the front group and managed to reel them in on the last 2 laps but I had ran out laps at this point. I brought it home in 8th with a 9 second gap to the rider in 9th

Still a lot of positives to take from this weekend, being in the front group again, being the top privateer rider in the race and we are now the sitting 10th in the championship which also means we are the top privateer team in the championship as it stands. I can’t thank the team enough for how much work they are putting in for me to compete against the bigger teams in British sportbike.

A massive thank you to the man, Gary at Notso-Fast Rider Coaching that has brought me on massively in these last few rounds, we’re seeing big progress and aren’t stopping anytime soon👊🏼

Had fun riding at knockhill at the weekend 😮‍💨

My first session out on track I beat my bsb time straight away and then in the first race I was 0.1 off the British sportbike lap record on scrubs 👌🏼 51.583

Race 2 ended early after the front tucked on me at turn 2
On lap 2 on a cold Scottish morning 😂

Overall I was mega happy to smash my bsb time and gather some valuable data for when we come back to knockhill bsb next year 💪🏼

Next stop cadwell this weekend for round 8 of British sportbike

Race 2 - what can I say…

I feel like I was robbed of another good result. To get given a 2 second penalty for running on the green after being nudged out by another rider who made a hard but clean move on me, I think is very harsh, considering I lost 3 positions due to this and made a save which if I didn’t, it could’ve caused a massive pile up with the 12 riders behind me.

I crossed over the line in p6 but with a 2 second penalty it put me back to p14

Overall I have so many positives to take from this weekend, to show that I can run with the front group comfortably, lead laps of the race, is a win in itself for me. As soon as I had clear air on the last lap I pulled a gap by the time I got into church but just got swallowed up by slipstream into the club chicane.

I’m feeling the best I have on the bike by far, this momentum isn’t stopping. Cadwell next on the list 🫡

Race 1 - P5 💪🏼

Had a great race today, from starting in p10 I worked my way through the field, feeling really comfortable. I got into p3 with 2 laps to go, I had a little moment on the penultimate lap which meant the front 2 got a little gap on me, and then on the last lap I was still in p3 but I was breaking the head wind into the last complex which let the riders behind me take my slipstream and I dropped to p5.

But it was a good race overall, big steps made and I’m starting on the front row in p3 for race 2 👊🏼
