Donington park round 2 ✅

A positive weekend for me, not the best start to it but we managed to finish on a high. I kept chipping away at my lap times and shown that i have the pace to run in the front group, just need to focus on my qualifying more. Came away with a p11 and p10 finish in the two races🫡

Race 1 - P11

I got off to a good start, from p13 I found myself in p8 by lap 3. After some back and forth battles in the group for p7 I ended the race in 11th. I felt like I rode a good race, just struggling a bit with straight line speed against the twins. But oh well, starting from p11 in tomorrows race so let’s see what we can do ✊🏼

Day 1 - P15

Not exactly where I want to be, but at the end of FP2 I’m really happy with the bike after some setup changes. We were only 0.5 from P3 so we’re right there, just need to push on in qualifying in the morning ✊🏼

Round 1 ✅

Up and down weekend for me…

I had a great start to the weekend in my free practice sessions. Unfortunately my qualifying didn’t quite go to plan and ended up in p11, this meant hard work for race 1. In race 1 I didn’t get off the best of starts and avoiding a rider that had crashed put me back, on lap 5 I got sucked in on the brakes with the rider infront of me at lodge, meaning I was in the gravel, I kept it upright and came home in p24.

Race 2 was a good race, I started in p13 and finished in p10. I was happy to have a good, consistent race and come home on a positive note.

I’ll be back stronger for round 2 at donington next weekend🫡

Qualifying - P11

Not exactly where I wanted to start from. Both me and the bike felt the best they have all weekend but I just found it really hard to get a clear lap in, I pitted to try and get a clear bit of track but as I was exiting a load more riders exited pit lane too. It was another PB for me but I’ve got some work to do in the races tomorrow 💪🏼
