Paddling equipment is now available to hire on Shoreham seafront, making it easier than ever to get out on the water this summer. 🌊

As part of our summer concessions scheme, Yak Shack has installed a smart paddleboard and kayak rental system, designed to be simple, flexible and accessible for everyone.

Located next to Shoreham Beach Green, the station offers two paddleboards, a single kayak and a double kayak, along with buoyancy aids for every user. Safety equipment must be worn at all times while on the water.

Hire starts from just £15 for a one-hour session, with options to book for longer if you’d like to make a day of it. Parking is available nearby at Shoreham Beach Green car park.

Before heading out, you’ll complete a safety briefing via the app, with additional tutorials available for those new to paddling. The system also uses real-time weather monitoring and will pause rentals during unsafe conditions, such as high winds or storms.

Hamble River Raid, such a great event for all! 💛

All ages out on the water, paddling hard, having a laugh, then straight off for food and drinks after. That’s what it’s all about. Massive thank you to the volunteers and organisers, we loved it. Maybe next year we’ll get some Yak Shack kayaks and boards in the mix... One to get involved in whatever your level 🚣‍♂️

We are so excited to announce that we are supporting the Hamble River Raid on the 16th of May! Yak Shack team will be out on the water providing safety cover, at the registration desk and getting some shots on the water!
