Excellent weekend of racing by the team, spread all over the North of England. First up Ian Cooke was 4th place in the Vive Le Velo V714 in the East Riding of Yorkshire, a great time in blustery conditions 💨. Next up we had Dougan and Debs riding the G S Metro Mark Strang memorial in Northumberland with Dougan winning the V60 category and Debs coming 4th in the female road bike category. Mark Brownless rode the Preston Wheelers 25 mile SPOCO championship, feeling under the weather but rode anyway as he wanted to represent the team, well done Mark 💪. Finally and saving the best for last we had 4 riders in the VTTA North 10 mile championship at Scorton. Dave had a strong ride in the road bike category and Team Zurbaran took all 3 places on the podium, Russ 🥈 and Marcel 🥉 finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively with Ray becoming the new VTTA North 10 mile champion with an AAT of 19:23 🥇 🏆 cooke.98 .potts

Teesside District 2-up Championship ran by Darlington CC and what a great day out for our team. Father & Son team Mark & Kieran Brownless, Father & Daughter team Ian & Poppy Cooke, Ray & Russ and Lou all had great rides.
Kieran & Mark achieved a PB and Lou was fastest lady.
Poppy & Ian are now mixed team 2-Up Champions and Ray & Russ are now open 2-Up Champions. Really proud of all of our riders, last year we didn’t have any teams entered and now we have 4 Champions 🏆
Mark and Ian both said how proud they were to ride with their children.
Many thanks to the organisers, marshals, timekeepers and to Darlington CC.

Busy day of racing for Zurbaran today in the hot sun ☀️ Stuart and Mark competing in an XC MTB race at Hamsterley Forest with Stuart finishing 2nd to Matty Kipling. On the TT scene Marcel and Dougan rode at Borougbridge in the Tudor Rose 25 hosted by Yorkshire Road Club. Marcel finishing 4th overall and Dougan winning the V60 category, overall winner was Jack Levick. We would like to thank all the organisers, marshals and timekeepers for 2 great events.

And here are finally the full results for our first club 10 event on Thursday. This includes Course Records - we had 2 new CR’s already 🙌 - Actual Times, Age Adjusted Times (AAT’s courtesy of VTTA and we included all ages), Ranks and Points Series for both actual Time and AAT. And then there are also the Raffle Numbers. More to be announced on this one soon so keep your eye peeled 👀

Thank you to everyone who came to ride our 10 mile TT on Thursday 28th May. A huge thank you to the marshals, timekeepers and those helping in the HQ. Thanks to for hosting. There were some great results in favourable conditions. Winners in the open category Carl Gibson and Poppy Cooke and in the road bike category Tony Oliver and Katherine Angwin.
